Tenía un Samsung Q7 qled y jamas pense que este sony oled iba a ser tanta diferencia y de verdad que es mil veces mejor, en los colores y los negros, vi guardians of galaxy vol.2 waooooo, es una experiencia a otro nivel, las escenas de accion no se distorcionan la imagen los colores son impresionantes, excelente para PS5 tambien, super recomendado.

Incredibly image quality & easy set up

I narrowed my choice down to the Sony 55A90J and the LG 55C2PUA. I think they both have incredible picture quality and I think I'd have been more than happy with either in terms of that metric . The LG was a little less expensive. I think the Sony has a higher build quality. This TV is part of a HT system and for now at least, I intend to pass the audio through eARC to my AVR. The Sony is capable of handling DTS audio signals, the LG is not. I suspect that is splitting hairs a little bit, but I think that's where we're in the TV market right now. I read a lot of professional reviews and did some hand-wringing about how concerned I should be about the brightness level being *enough*. I think that is more hair-splitting. Unless you are continuously watching two different TV's side-by-side I just don't think that is really noticeable. At least it's not to me. Set-up was very easy. No references needed. I fumbled around a little at first. But within 30-40 minutes was watching TV, with audio through my HT system and CEC control working flawlessly.

Great picture and remote but....

The picture on this tv is fantastic as online reviews state. The other feature that was a have to have was a full 0 through 9 number pad on the remote. I'm not about to wade through 20 channels when I want to go from 26.3 to 2.1 one by one by one because the remote only has channel up and down buttons. Cutting corners like that on a $1000+ tv and many manufacturers do (including Sony) is inexcusable. So those are the pluses for this tv. There are 2 major problems. 1 is Google - you have to go in and individually turn off 60 or 70 data sharing permissions. Google has NO right whatsoever to know anything about what I watch. I've done that, and this tv will not be on the internet just to be safe. The other major problem falls into the category of "Hey, look what we can get tech to do!!" even though it is a bad idea. If I put a music CD in the Sony DVD player and hit play the Sony TV turns on. WHAT???? If I want the tv on **I** will turn the tv on. Likewise if I am done and want to watch tv I stop the DVD player and expect the TV to remain on. But the tv then turns off too. Now I've got to turn the tv back on. That's beyond stupid. Why in the world do they think I want the TV on to listen to a CD? Just because tech can do something does not mean it's the right thing to do. If this is Sony's idea of a good idea I'm done with them.

This TV is expensive, but it looks good, has a fantastic picture, and includes many display options. WiFi connectivity is very good. The remote is excellent, and works with peripherals. The 'center speaker' works very well, and is a cool enhancement feature. The only reason for 4 stars (besides $$$) is the lack of detail in the manual supplied, and the Sony online link to a manual pdf is broken. Overall, very pleased with this addition to our living room.

Although I have not had a chance to view anything on DVD yet, the picture and sound are as expected for what I've been watching. Two things that I was concerned about before I made my purchase - first, that the TV speaker would shut down when I used my external speakers (like my Samsung); and second, that there were only 2 HDMI ports - not enough for what I want to connect. The first concern is not a problem because the TV speaker remains on when connected to other speakers (can be turned off using mute switch). The second concern was answered when I got the TV and found that there actually are 4 HDMI ports, contrary to what was said in the online setup guide (I only use 3). I thus returned the HDMI switch that I ordered to accommodate my need.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV !!! Turns on by itself at any time , night or day. Spoke to Crutchfield and Sony CS and neither plans to do anything about this issue. Will NEVER buy another Sony product. Very unhappy about this issue!!!

Terrific television. I have never seen a TV that exposes bad video and rewards good video as much as this one. If the source is solid, the picture is stunning. If it's so-so, this TV helps but won't work a miracle. The sound is very good. Not as good as a separate speaker system, but very good for a TV. Expensive? Sure. But if you have the content to put up, the experience is stupendous. Easy to set up out of the box and Google TV is a nice OS.

Amazing TV! Picture quality is phenomenal, this replaces an older Sony XBR LED and I have no viewing issues at all setting up this OLED set in a bright room with lots of natural sunlight. Colors are vibrant, extremely wide viewing angles and minimum glare. After the rave reviews on the acoustics, I would still recommend a sound bar for better dialog. My only criticism is with Crutchfield. They failed to honor their price match guaranty. After purchasing the tv through Crutchfield, a competitor that was listed on their approved list of retailers had the identical set on sale. When I contacted Crutchfield, customer service was horrendous. They told me they could not match the lower price because it was a sale price and not their regular price. Does that make any sense at all? I was given the option to return the set for a refund, but in order for this to happen, I would have to repack the tv in its original packaging and lug it to a courier for shipment and hope it gets back to Crutchfield unscathed. Bottom Line: Excellent TV. Horrible Customer Service.

Fantastic TV! Good picture out of the box, required some tweaking to get best possible picture from all sources (including low resolution cable channels and older TV shows and movies) . Widest color range and clearest picture of any TV I have ever owned. One of the best OLED - or any technology - TVs on the market today. Easy to set up, intuitive AI interface . Highly recommended .

I like the sound being projected forward since the TV is in a cabinet. The picture is very good. However, on very white large objects (like a ball player's uniform) it looks like there maybe some ghosting but I don't know if it is the TV or the camera that the broadcaster is using or the cable TV provider signal. I don't see this with smaller objects. If I watch an animated movie I do not see it. I am pleased with this purchase. I love Crutchfield's technical support, as well as my sales rep's (Daisy) commitment to pursuing answers for my many questions. Approximately 9 years ago I purchased a Marantz SR7005 receiver from Crutchfield so they were able to look at that purchase and tie it into answering questions on TV setup and performance.

Impressive TV and Crutchfield Service

First let me say that I was a little nervous about having this shipped to me instead of buying it locally. I put my trust in Crutchfield and its terms and conditions. It shipped without any issues. Shortly after receiving it, the price had dropped, but Crutchfield had my back and reimbursed me the difference immediately that I had paid. As for the TV, it is impressive. This is replacing another Sony HDTV 1080p Bravia system from 2006. It is a huge difference between the two. I use and prefer Apple TV, so I don't use the built in Google TV even though it is enabled on the TV. The sound is very impressive. I had been using Digital Dolby surround system setup with a receiver, which I was still able to use with this TV, but whereas I had been using it whenever I had used my old set, now most of the time I use the built in sound system as it is good enough for most applications. The OLED screen is beautiful and the colors are on point. I would definitely recommend this others.

Worth It!

Finally had to replace my 18 year old Pioneer plasma tv. This Sony A90J is incredible in both picture and sound. It comes at a premium price but I have no regrets. Also need to say Crutchfield did an outstanding job getting this to me in only two days.

Incredible TV

I've had this for a week now and it's an awesome television. I'm new to OLEDs, it's my first one and I'm truly impressed with the picture quality. I upgraded from a Sony Bravia X900E, which was also a great television too, but wanted the latest and greatest for the PS5 and XSX. Sound quality/speakers are far better than my X900E, as they should be considering the price for the A90J. Was using a soundbar (Sony HT-NT5) previously but one is not needed for the A90J for me. I like the Google TV UI so far, I'm still getting used to it though. Not too different than Android TV, just a lot more recommendations it shows you, and not too much else that's different. I use about 5 different apps total so it's not crazy at all for me to navigate. FYI you get 10 digital movie credits and a two year subscription included with the purchase of this TV through an app called Bravia Core. I thought that was a nice bonus, I didn't know that before purchasing so it was a surprise to me. I love the remote. It's backlit, comfortable to hold and button placement is perfect. Made me put away my harmony remote for good. I only have gaming consoles and an antenna hooked up to this TV, all of which work fine.

Best of the Best. My friend is a fanatic when it comes to Oled TV's. He couldn't believe the brightness it is able to deliver with some movies clips we watched. Also the lack of vertical banding in greyscale testing which he compares to his LG Oled TV. Basically made him want one too. I have a Sony 4k LED LCD TV (model 900E). I wanted an Oled for that ultra fine detail in the picture, that you cannot get with and LED LCD.

Great tv . First oled tv . It's a learning experience. Great sound for a tv . Great picture. The self dimming is cool. The station logos almost disappeared with the self dimming.
