Sony Alpha a7 III Kit
Crutchfield customer from Earlysville, VA on 10/1/2020
The EVF leaves a little to be desired but you will be hard pressed to find a better bang-for-the-buck full frame mirrorless as capable as the a7iii for photos and video. The kit lens is acceptable for a variety of shooting and is very compact and lightweight. Stepping up to Zeiss/G/GMaster glass is a distinct improvement.
Pros: All around powerhouse Dual card slots 4K30 video
Cons: low res EVF slight AF twitch with landscape/architecture in low light

Sony a7 III is the best value of Sony's fullframe mirrorless cameras
Emporio from United States on 9/4/2018
Sony a7 III represents the best value of Sony's fullframe mirrorless line-up. The Back-illuminated full-frame sensor gives a7 III higher sensitivity and readout speed compared to a7 & a7 II. The back-illuminated structure enhances light collection efficiency, expands circuitry scale and the copper wiring layer contributes to quicker data transfer, outputs data at very high speed, while minimizing noise to reveal fine details. Though it lacks the best-in-class read-out speed of a9's Stacked BSI sensor, this allows a7 III to capture finer and sharper detail.

Excellent Hybrid Camera
Can from Brooklyn, NY on 8/15/2018
This camera has better auto focus than the a7r III and shoots video as good as a7s II if not better. This is the best hybrid mirrorless camera in the market right now until maybe fuji comes up with xh-2 or canon and nikon step up their game, but until then this is THE camera to buy!

Sony Alpha a7 III Kit
Debra from West Creek, NJ on 7/13/2018
The only think I don't like is how easily the sensor becomes dusty. It makes it almost impossible to change lens while out on the field.
Pros: Great dynamic range. Fabulous features that work really well for real estate photography
Cons: Mirrorless sensor needs extra care for cleaning and caution when changing lenses. It is a dust magnet!
