Advanced ESP (Electronic Shock Protection): This unit is equipped with 12-second Advanced Electronic Shock Protection for skip-resistant play.

CD Compatibility: This unit will play pre-recorded CDs and finalized CD-R and CD-RW discs. It will also playback CD-R and CD-RW discs encoded with MP3 files, and is CD Text and ID3 tag capable.
MP3 Compatibility: MP3 files must be recorded in ISO 9660 level 1 or level 2 format, or Joliet or Romeo in the ISO 9660 expansion format. When naming, be sure to add the file extension ".MP3" to the MP3 file name.
CD Text: When playing CD Text encoded CDs, this changer will transmit the data for display on compatible Sony head units equipped with CD Text display capability.
110-Disc Custom File Memory: When used with a compatible head unit, this feature allows you to store and display names for up to 110 discs in the changer. Each name can be up to 8 characters in length.
Mounting: This unit may be installed vertically, horizontally, or at an angle between 0 and 90 degrees. There are 5-position angle switching dials on both sides of the unit that must be set to agree with the mounting angle of the unit.
