Another phenomenal lens from Sony, super sharp, fast focus and light enough for hand held pictures. Once again, fast delivery and excellent service from Crutchfield!

Fantastic Lens
GARY from South Dakota on 2/19/2018
Outstanding lens! Just as DxO Labs test showed when they described it as the best telephoto zoom ever made, it is tack sharp , auto focuses fast, and matches up perfectly with both my Sony A7RII and Sony A7RIII bodies. Highly recommend this lens from the great folks at Crutchfield.
Pros: Tack Sharp, Fast Auto Focus, Nice Bokeh.
Cons: none

Nice Lens
Russell from Laurel, MD on 10/22/2017
Only had the lens a few weeks but my first "test" pictures are coming out clean and crisp. I was amazed that my lens came out of the "scratch & dent" bucket. I can not find any marks on the lens body or faults in the lens itself. The lens is a bit heavy but I knew that a 400mm would have some weigh, I will carry a tripod. I am impressed with the build quality of the lens and have no buyers regret. I'm keeping this lens.
Pros: Nice clear pictures. The lens anti-shake combined with native anti shake of the Alpha 7 ii really works.
Cons: At 3 pounds its a bit heavy. However, when compared to the other 100-400 mm lens on the market (5 - 8 lbs), its as light as you can expect. Also a bit pricy, I bought it anyway. It does not look as Tamron or other third party lens mfg are going to issue an e-mount alternative any time soon.
