Loving it so far! The autofocus is incredible, especially when paired with the a9. Its very fast, pin sharp, and workhorse.

My Favorite FE lens so far. It's very sharp - maybe the sharpest zoom I have and it's build quality seems to be excellent. I took off one star because of its size and weight. I know that may seem crazy to some... I should have known what I was buying but I mis-judged both size and weight. Despite that, I've managed to take the lens with me EVERYWHERE since getting it. I find it useful in the city for closeups of facades and architectural details. There is some distortion when shooting straight lines like doors and windows but this is easily corrected in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw (lens profile is provided by Adobe in both).

Pros: Solid Build, External Switches including OSS and AF, Sharp lens

Cons: Weight and Size, External Switches (also a Pro) can be a con because I've accidentally switched OSS off a few times while handling the lens removing it from my camera bag
