I love this camera. I not a pro. I am not willing to spend a ton of time on a learning curve. But out of the box, I was up and rolling. This not the handycam of my youth. This is simple. As for the video quality... wow! As with all camera audio, you will want to use an external mic to get better sound... especially if you plan to use your videos for social media or other professional settings. I went with the Sennheiser MKE440, but I am sure something less expensive would work just as well. The auto illumination is great, as well. Frankly, I don't have to add any lighting to get "good enough," but I attach a lumecube when it needs to be perfect or I am in low lighting. I am so happy with the camera, but it is for amateurs, newbies, the technically challenged, or those just wanted the video version of point and shoot. I realize the older (and more expensive) model this camera originates from has a few more features, but I wasn't planning to use them. So, the AX43 really met my needs for the price. Highly recommended for those like me... technologically challenged and a bit too lazy to learn the features and settings of more powerful cameras.
Pros: Simple Basically point and shoot Excellent video quality
Cons: May want an external mic Lacking some of the features of the previous model (but I didn't care)
