These speakers are awesome and fit the 2005 Mazda 6s quite well. They were good with the stock system. When I added a aftermarket headunit these speakers came to life. They are balanced and smooth. This was my first time trying Sony speakers. I was not disappointed! Money well spent.

Pros: Loud Balanced Cool looking

Cons: Maybe pricey for some - come on spend that money your car is worth it To make them fit I had to bend the bracket screw holes a little bit to make them fit.

2012 Honda Pilot

Installed two pairs in my 2012 Honda Pilot Touring. They are a vast improvement in the clarity and depth of sound compared to the single-cone factory speaks. Perfect fit and very easy to install with the wiring adapters and mounting brackets provided by Crutchfield. That said, the Pilot still suffered from muddy mid-bass and a lack of extended deep-bass due to the limitations of the factory "sub". Wanting to keep the factory head unit, I added a powered sub in parallel to the factory sub. I dialed-back the factory sub setting to decrease the muddy mid-bass and dialed-up the powered sub and am now much happier with the overall sound. Careful installation successfully avoided unwanted hum, engine whine and any weird sound compensation from the head unit. It's not the best system rolling but it's a whole lot better than the factory effort.

Pros: Very easy to install with the wiring adapters and mounting adapters. Worthwhile upgrade done on-the-cheap.

Cons:

Simple Drop in Addition to Honda Element

Shamus from San Francisco, CA on 2/3/2016

These coax speakers sound incredible and were a great addition to the XS-GS1621C component set I have installed in the front. I am driving both sets of speakers off of a MEX-XB100BT which provides more than enough power. The bass is great and the overall sound is extremely balanced. The speakers have slots for both 3 and 4 hole installations so I did not have to cut or modify anything to drop them into my Honda Element.

Pros: Great balanced sound and incredible simple installation

Cons: Size is incorrectly listed on the Crutchfield website.

Probably one of the best coaxial sets I've purchased yet.

Pros: Great range (ie. Bass, Mids, and Highs) Simple enough to install.

Cons: Not a single thing wrong with them.
