Excellent 3 way component systems, Sound quality is amazing , Bass is strong and consistent, mids are tight , and highs are crisp , There is 3 setting for the tweeters , -4 dp , 0 and +4 , I chose 0 , as it sounded more natural to me They sound a bit more on the bright side, Rather than Deep , Sound stage is wide , with accurate instrumental positioning
Pros: Sound Stage Separation Quality
Cons: Cost

I was reluctant to initially get these speakers given the reasonable price when compared to Focals. Let me tell you they sound great and the woofer and mid fit in factory openings. I had to surface mount the tweeter given it was much larger than factory.

This is the component set for this car. 3 way sound brings any music style to life!! And the price sealed for me!!
Pros: Super clean sound with great bass response.
Cons: You do need a place to mount 3 separate speakers...

Great clarity, turn up the bass...

Clarity and definition are outstanding. The bass and mid bass needed some help from the EQ. It seems the crossover network leaves something to be desired and let the drivers down a bit. (Running with a single source per side bridged into both inputs)
Pros: Installation was easy
Cons: Crossovers leave something to be desired (be prepared to spend some time with the EQ)

Sony three way speaker set

Ggot this set for my 2000 S10. Mods and tweets in the dash and woofers in the doors Great set of speakers. Once dialed in they sound fantastic. Don't expect to get great Sound out of any door speaker unless you prepare the door with sound deadening and some mass loaded vinyl to create a good platform for the speakers to shine. Running these bi-amped with 75w a channel and they will get as loud as you want.
Pros: Reasonably priced. Great Sound. Efficient. Bi-amp capable. Shallow depth mounting.
Cons: As with any component y crossover, a bit big.

Great option for MKV GTI

Great replacement for the factory 3-way components, they sound many times better. I paired these with a subwoofer so no input on low-end response, but as mids/highs, they sound great and handle a ton of power without distorting. A thin enough mid-range is hard to find for the GTIs, but this one is actually a hair thinner than the factory. The only downside is the beefy crossovers which dwarf the factory ones. There was no way to fit these inside the doors so I had to mount them on the outside; not ideal but also not overly intrusive/noticeable in daily life.
Pros: Sound great, slim-mount mid-range fits where others don't.
Cons: Large Crossover is mildly challenging to conceal.
