Jewel-Pretty Sound with Warm/Neutral Reference Tuning

I have been listening to these non-stop. I was looking for an IEM with warm/neutral reference tuning that could compete with the sound quality of the Shure SHR1540 I use for my small studio and would be easy to listen for long sessions. This is it. The warmer, near flat frequency response lacks the shouting high mids/low treble that hurts me after thirty or so minutes, while retaining exceptional clarity. The BAs are exceptionally detailed with a rich, lush midrange, allowing me to capture fine details. Like many excellent BA-based IEMs, they have a jewel-like prettiness to the tone-but this is much more accurate than I've heard from lower tiered models. The bass, while not as impactful as a dynamic driver, is still audible and well extended into deep sub frequencies, but it is much faster than a DD, allowing bass notes to breathe with greater clarity and texture. Using these while tracking my bass guitar playing is especially nice when I'm using a more mid-heavy tone. The warmth of the sound was enough to make listening to early NIN quite comfortable, which hasn't been the case in headphones with more scooped tuning and peaks around 1.5-2 kHz. I am not always a fan of a fit around the ear, but this has an easy, loose fit, unlike the Shures I've tried that are rigidly fitted around the ear. The cord is does not retain bends. The comfort tips remain my preferred. I get a little discomfort after many hours from the outer housing on my canal, but not enough to stop listen

Pros: Warm/Neutral Reference tuning Great, memory-free cord Beautiful, detailed, balanced, and textured sound

Cons: Slight discomfort on very long listening sessions in small ears Lacks some of the visceral bass impact of dynamic drivers Some may miss out on high midrange brightness May require more volume/power despite lower Ohms rating
