Sony Alpha a7 II (no lens included)
Crutchfield customer from Telford, PA on 2/5/2021
I just started using the camera and therefore these are very much first impressions. This is my third Sony camera, (A380, A77) so I have not been disappointed. I am adjusting to the new menu system and controls. The picture quality is exceptional and I will continue to recommend a Sony camera. We are a Sony family and my wife has an RX 10 III.
Pros: Picture quality, stabilization.
Cons: Not all A-mount lens features work. I have tried several Tamron telephoto lens.

I purchased a Minolta SRT 101 in Viet Nam 1967. I have collected dozens of Rokkor lenses over many years. These beautiful lenses have found a new home adapted to a my Sony Alpha a7 II. Needless to say they are very pleased.
Pros: Light weight perfect with my Rokkor f/2 135mm
Cons: n/a

After 2 sessions of use , I have been surprised with versatility of this body and the clarity and crispness of this full frame body. Smaller in size than the regular models , this mirrorless unit very simple to use even with the adapter and my older sony/minolta glass.Great in nice light and did well in low light and night shots around last full moon.

Couldn't be happier. A singular replacement to our vintage Nikon FE. Balanced well, great selection of glass. Incredible pictures and features set. Don't listen to all the hubbub about the menu navigation; it's easy to use with customized buttons.

Great image stabilized camera
Crutchfield customer from Charlottesville, VA on 4/8/2016
So far, I love this camera. Feels much different in the hand than the original a7. I can use my vintage glass on this camera which gives new life to my Canon lenses. Sharp and fast (not as fast focusing as my Alpha6000 but very close)
Pros: Weather sealed, image stabilization, OLED viewfinder ,great feel in the hand
Cons: Not as many megapixels as the a7rii
