Kevin from Crutchfield was a great help in finding exactly what I needed for my toy hauler. The speakers were equivalent to what came with it. They sound decent though without havingng to modify the toy hauler for bigger more expensive speakers. These fit the openings that were already there.

Sound good but doesn hold up to elements

They sound good but this is my 3rd set of 4 speakers. Cloth material surround gets brittle and cracks to pieces after 1 year warranty. Would replace with other speakers but limited to depth of 2" on center console.

The speakers were priced well so I wasn't expecting anything great but they have a poor sound. It sounds very imbalanced with no Bass. I also put in Polk 4" speakers below deck and the Polk 4" have a good balance from the highs and lows. The Sony speakers seem to have only treble. Luckily I can turn them down really low and listen to the smaller Polk speakers.

Installed on 5th wheel and are fantastic and so much better than original outdoor Jensen speakers!

Unexpected performance

I connected these to the Sony MSX- 80 45wRMS radio and they rock! Very impressed with the clarity and the bass does not disappoint. I had a lower lever 17w radio and they were good, but the higher wattage really makes them perform across all frequencies!

I was a bit disappointed. These sound slightly better than the paper cone cheap rv speakers they replace

Poor Quality

Installed a pair on my deck boat and they lasted a mere 2 seasons. I kept hearing crackling and thought it was a loose wire then I was surprised to find the glue for the cone came loose and it was vibrating making the crackling noise. Funny thing is I have another pair of cheap Boss Marine speakers that still sound great and came with my boat when I bought it 13years ago.

Installed in center console

Installed easily, but the sound is not great. It may be the lack of an enclosure. The center console that they are in is not ideal.
Pros: Seem to be well made.
Cons: Sound is hollow, empty, shallow. Could be the "encolsure" or lack thereof.

Just installed these as a replacement for a pair of rock speakers that were weathered ,the sound is very good even have some bass to them but am going to add sub which will allow these to crank it up alittle the grills are adequate ,didn't need them so not a big deal.Overall nice speaker

I have owned 4 sets of these over the years with different boats. They last, and they sound good. I end up soldering the connections because I never have the small prong connector.

Awesome speakers, installed them in my 4Runner. Wish I bought another set for the front doors.

These were sent overnight with a Saturday delivery to replace under rated speaker for the receiver and amp setup I purcahsed at no cost to me. Crutchfield was extermley easy to deal with and their response to my issue was excellent.

Marine speakers Chris Craft
Sound quality seems good. Can hear music at speed in open cockpit . Installation was a challenge since the mounting holes didn't match up. Bought mounting adapters from Crutchfield and things went much better.

Good replacements at a great price

The grilles were cracked and so was the sound coming from the stock Jensen speakers in my 2010 Sea Doo Speedster 150. I needed to find "better than OE" replacements on a budget, and these Sony speakers fit the bill nicely. They were slightly smaller than the originals (my fault for not measuring more carefully), but I made adapter rings, and the install went without a hitch otherwise. Now I'm tempted to get two more and a Sony marine stereo to go with them!
