Perfect Travel camera
Joe C from Danvers, MA on 1/7/2023
After one year of using this rx100 vi I have learned that it performs best shot wide open at f2.8, stopping down actually softens corners. I also found that using center focus gives best results. Perfect camera for travelling.
Pros: All in one
Cons: Best wide open

Amazing little camera
Crutchfield customer from Perrysburg, OH on 8/8/2021
The camera packs an excellent quality powerful zoom lens and a 1 inch sensor into a very small body making it a perfect travel camera for me as I like traveling light. There are plenty of custom shooting options for a creative photographer while automatic modes provide excellent image quality as well. Sony also provides some basic image editing software, one interesting feature of which is that one can upload images back to the camera after post-processing so that they can be kept together with the originals on the same memory card. Sharing to TV and to smartphone are nice features too. The only real con I am finding so far is that battery life is fairly limited, but that's probably expected given how compact the battery is, which of course helps keep the camera so compact as well. I highly recommend this camera for those who can afford it.

Custer

I have always had Sony's RX line and when I upgraded to the next model, I wanted to support the more "mom & pop" companies and I found Crutchfield. My other half who grew up in the 70's said he used Crutchfield for his sound system and they were the best. Needless to say, I was equally wowed by Crutchfield's awesome customer service. You can call them and discuss your product with them and the techs are very knowledgable. It's obvious why they've been in business so long, they know their products and their bar is set high for their customer service. I will continue to shop for my electronics at Crutchfield, their reliability and dependability just can't be matched!
Pros: My first RX-100 back in 2012, I didn't buy a case for it, I would just shove it in a pocket or backpack and the screen got some dinged up pretty bad. Bought a case with the next cameras and I'm golden.
Cons: The charger cord on the RX vi is super short, sometimes I charge while I'm driving and I have to find a solid spot for the camera to charge.

Best Small camera I've ever owned.
Crutchfield customer from Cleveland, TN on 5/22/2019
One of the best small cameras I have ever used, just got back from a trip to Greece and Italy, took well over 1,000 photos and was very pleased with the focus speed and image quality. If you want a fast reliable and fun camera to use on vacation get this one and leave the big boy at home, you won't need it!
Pros: Best autofocus and excellent shutter speed
Cons: Battery and wish it was thinner, but I am just being picky

Awesome

Love it. I did a lot of research before I bought this camera and I came to the conclusion that if you can afford it, this is the point and shoot to get. The biggest con, obviously, is the price, which at least you know up front. I am amazed at the detail it captures, the zoom, and how well it performs in low light. The performance (especially in zoom) is far superior to my Samsung 9+ and rivals my old Nikon D300 with a 2.8 200mm lens (at a fraction of the weight and bulk). I do wish it had an option for an external mic as the gain on the internal mic is set very high.
Pros: Size, picture quality, low light photos, zoom, touchscreen (functionality and how it pivots), ability to charge the battery while in the camera from a battery pack.
Cons: Price, Microphone

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VI
Jonathan from Seattle, WA on 9/11/2018
The camera has been awesome so far! We were looking for something they was going to be a siginifjcant upgrade from our iPhones , but didn't require a full camera bag, multiple lenses, and a lot of in depth expertise. This so far has hit everything. Very easy to use and operate and the quality of photos has been great so far. We bought this for our upcoming honeymoon in Africa and are excited to try it out reheated !

Open box item had all the original packaging and could not tell it had been handled before. Camera is excellent, but need to buy the grip for the front to hold on to it. Should be there standard in my eyes.
