Really nice head unit that sounds fantastic with my stock speakers. Quality is evident in every respect. The fatal flaw with this unit, and probably most others that use a pixel based display (vs segmented) is the fact that it is totally unviewble in daylight, even cloudy conditions. With no visible feedback during operation, during driving, it left me hitting an array of buttons to try to make simple things happen. If I could change the display colors, it might have helped matters, but it is unchangeable from "White", in spite of what the (incorrect) Crutchfield description says. Am going to try a competing brand, with a segmented display and actual control over display colors, and hope for a better result.

Pros: Quality feel of controls Great fidelity Great aesthetics

Cons: Display renders unit unusable in daylight

This is a great head unit for the price. I had already purchased and installed a Sony MEX-N5100BT in another vehicle. It is about 3 years old and never had a hiccup. The WX-920BT unit is similar but a Double DIN. No problems with the installation. I anticipate years of trouble free use!

Pros: Inexpensive, easy installation, great brand!

Cons: The filler pieces that are supplied for installation are a bit finicky. The plastic is thin enough that it deforms when the screws are tightened.

I chose to have Crutchfield pre-wire the harness. It was literally plug and play in under an hour. Much better sound, stronger AM FM reception. Somewhat intuitive radio controls that I know I'm not fully utilizing yet. Flawless Bluetooth. You can definitely do this.

Pros: Everything exceeded expectations

Cons: Unavoidable dremel trim needed on Metra panel. I may have gone a little far on that.

2006 Subaru Forester

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Selected and ordered the stereo for my son's 2006 Subaru Forrester using the stereo selector tool on the web site, Very happy with the result. Stereo performance and features were better than expected for a stereo in this price range, we were very pleased. Installation was more difficult than we though but that was not the fault of Crutchfield, they provided detailed instructions and we opted for the $24 pigtail wiring service which is the only way to go and made the wiring literally a snap. The difficulty was on the Subaru side having to disconnect the heater and air conditioner linkage in a very confined space. All in all very satisfied and will order again for sure. My son loves the stereo and all of its options. Thanks Crutchfield for making it so easy.

Pros: Everything you need

Sounds great, easy install in my 2003 CRV especially when you have Crutchfield do the wiring harness. Nothing but good things so far. Bluetooth has been flawless.

Pros: Simple but fully functional. Sounds great. Bluetooth connectivity is perfect so far. Bang for the buck. Large volume knob is key for me.

Cons: Not crazy about the lights but I bought it knowing it has a bit of the disco feel :) The display is a bit dim in full sunlight. It has 3 lines but one is locked as the mode so you can't display artist and song at the same time.

John from Ivoryton, Connecticut on 3/27/2019

2011 Ford F-250

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Sorry I bought this. But it is a cheap radio that has a good sound with a gimmicky display. I got it mostly to listen to Audible books thru bluetooth. The display is hard to read in daylight: a dim display even on max brightness, there is lots of glare, the radio face is a dust magnet. (The SONY logo is lit brightly yet I cannot see anything else in the display). I think the colored lighting stuff is a gimmick, but it is nice to be able to match the vehicle dash color. The radio needs to be turned on to have a clock displayed. If you get a call while listening thru bluetooth, the clock disappears and after the call some useless info appears (how many minutes are left or played on the book title. I assume the same is true if you are listening to music). Manual says push a certain button to get the clock, but that only works in certain modes. This is no option for a 24 hour clock, so it says AM or PM only. I prefer "military" time. If I turn off my book, close all the apps on my phone and then shut off the truck and leave the vehicle, the book will start all by itself when I return and start the car. It was off then I left, why does it start just because I started the truck? Cheap radio? Phone is a Samsung Note 8. Sorry I bought this junk.

Pros: Good sound

Cons: Mega GLARE, dim display even on max brightness, radio has to be on to have a clock, no 24 hour clock.

Not to discount the quality of the product, but I am more impressed with Crutchfield's customer service. When I received the car stereo (before the scheduled drop date) and began the installation, I determined that the wrong wiring harness was delivered. I contacted Crutchfield tech-support (Jeff) and we determined that the incorrect harness I received was a fault of my own; I incorrectly answered one of the the online questions during the ordering process. Jeff identified the appropriate wiring harness and quickly dispatched the product. Here's the kicker...no additional charge for the new/correct harness. We're talking ~$50 for the parts...not including shipping...due to my acknowledged mistake. It goes without saying that I will continue to give Crutchfield my business. Thank you.

I thought this radio would look good in my 2005 Rav4 but it looks even better. I love the features and especially the look of the radio. I feel like I'm in a new car. Crutchfield preassembled my wire harness and it looked really good.

Pros: Great Features

Cons: Since I had already discarded the factory radio 6 years ago, I had to rebuy the original factory radio brackets to install this radio - but it was worth it.

Great unit!

Kim from Greenwood, Delaware on 2/20/2019

2003 Mazda B Series

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

I have lived with the stock OEM AM/FM - CD player that came in my Mazda B2300 truck from the factory, but recently it started having issues while playing CDs. I had ordered from Crutchfield back in the '90's when I needed a CD player for my '98 Jeep. I ordered this Sony based upon the reviews. I am not disappointed. It is a wonderful unit, and surprisingly simple to operate once you become familiar with the main knob's many functions. It has much better sound than the stock OEM unit. I cannot wait to replace the 4 speakers. I am sure that will make a noticeable difference. My only complaint regarding this unit has nothing to do with Crutchfield. I do not understand why this manufacturer (Sony) or any other manufacturer cannot produce a direct replacement for a double-din unit. Every unit that I looked at, including this unit that I purchased, required modification to the dash panel in order to install the unit. While I knew that up front when I purchased it, I can tell you that it is a colossal pain in the butt to trim the dash panel, even if the dash panel is removed from the vehicle (which I did). If you do not have one already, you must go out and buy a Dremel tool. Due to the tight space where the material has to be removed, you must also buy a 90 degree Dremel attachment for the cutting wheel. It is virtually impossible to remove the plastic material from the dash panel without the 90 degree attachment.

Pros: Great sound and features, including USB input. Nice looking, especially at night.

Cons: Installation was a colossal pain in the butt, mainly because of the material that had to be trimmed from the dash panel. Removing the stock CD player was a breeze with the Crutchfield included (free) tool. Why the aftermarket manufacturers cannot make their units pop right in just like the old one popped out is a question that needs to be answered. It makes no sense. If one unit can pop out so easily, the new unit should be designed the same way.

I purchased the head unit to replace the OEM radio in my Subaru Forester. The installation was pretty straight forward thanks to the install kit provided by Crutchfield. Overall, the unit performs very well for the cost (and much better than the stock radio). One quibble would be the inability to see the display in direct sunlight, but that's about the only fault I can find. The unit is attractive, has plenty of power and the sound quality is a huge improvement over the OEM unit, although I do believe I will hang an external amp and a subwoofer off it in the near future (just annoy the neighbors). :)

Pros: Great sound, feature rich, an stylish for a great price!

Cons: Hard to see display in direct sunlight.

Nice clean fit in my Pontiac Grand Prix GT with Monsoon Sound system. The wiring harness me to use my steering wheel controls for most frequently used functions. Blue tooth from my Samsung Note 8, and 200 plus stored albums, is why I updated my radio, that and the CD ejection stopped working. It would be 4 Stars if not for the glare during daylight use. Makesvit hard to read the display. But perhaps I just haven't discovered how to brighten the words. The other system color I was ablevyo match up with my other dash lights perfectly. I like the 3 FM and 2 AM base settings, 6 presets for each, FM1, FM2, etc.

Was first looking for a full blown double din touch screen stereo with every tech available, but it is for a convertible Corvette and I like to leave it parked with the top down and didn't want anything too pricey looking that would get ripped off. So after much comparing different systems and deliberations, I bought this Sony and have not been disappointed one little bit. It also took me a minute to see if I wanted an apmp with this or not, and after going back and forth, I finally installed it without an amp, but ran RCA cables just in case, and so far those cables will probably go unused. The power in this unit is more than enough, but it is also a Corvette so it is a very small compartment to fill sound with. Once summer comes around and going topless more and more, that will be the final judge of this unit.

Pros: Good power without an amp

Cons: none as of yet

The sony unit was just what I wanted for my Tacoma. I utilize the Radio and cd player, but also wanted the bluetooth for my phone. The unit went in smoothly however it is slightly smaller than the bezel opening even with the trim ring. I used some back filler and it looks like a perfect fit. The bluetooth connected easily using NFC

Pros: Good basic unit for someone not looking for dvd or gps.

Cons: Unit slightly smaller than bezel

I'm not an audiophile, I was just looking to improve the quality of the sound by upgrading from oem equipment. I had previously replaced my oem speakers with JBL aftermarket ones for some improvement, but felt I could get better results by replacing the head unit also. I'm very pleased with the results. Sound quality is WAY better not to mention the added benefit of Bluetooth, USB port, etc. Installation was easy with the exception that the screws provided with the HU were too short to work with the adapter kit. I had others on hand so it wasn't that bad but still... Overall very pleased! Prewired harness was nice.

Pros: Value, fast delivery, easy install

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Great unit, really increased the functionality of the sound system in my 2008 GMC Canyon. Bluetooth connectivity seems spot on,have had a few issues with my iPhone 6 disconnecting for no apparent reason, but I don't think its the fault of this unit. The controls are fairly intuitive, good positive click feel when turning volume wheel and pressing the hard keys. Haven't noticed any issues with brightness - on sunny days and late at night. Wired microphone is great for calls on the go - everyone says they can hear my voice so much better.

Pros: Multiple options to connect to audio devices (bluetooth, usb, aux cord) Intuitive controls Great Aesthetics Positive feedback when buttons are depressed/volume wheel turned Functional handsfree calling

Cons: Occasionally my iPhone 6 loses bluetooth connectivity for no reason, but I'm skeptical that it's due to the head unit, thinking it might be a software issue.

I thought this unit was the best choice for the price. I love the customizable backlight colors - you can choose from preset colors or enter your own RGB values to get whatever color you want. The sound is good and the bass boost button is nice when changing between stations or inputs that have different bass levels. The custom equalizer is fun, but applies to all inputs, so sound varies by radio station or input source. I really like the USB input on the face with the little door that covers it. Doesn't leave an open USB in the face when it's not being used and is easy to plug cords into. It is nice that the CD player remembers what track and time it was on when switching to another input and back. The two preset buttons next to the main knob are a bit of a pain to get to - the knob could be smaller and that would solve the problem. It would be nice if the button labels and icons were larger and easier to read. There is a lot to learn about the unit, and the manual is well written and explains everything you need to know. I replaced the stock unit with this one and there is a learning curve - but this unit does so much more than the stock unit that it is well worth the effort!

Pros: Lots of customizable features, good power, love the infinite range of background colors, installation was easy, good looking unit.

Cons: Button labels and icons could be larger/easier to read. Center preset buttons are too close to main knob.

I installed the Sony WX-920BT in a 2007 Corolla with Kicker 43CSC6934 (6x9) in the rear deck and Kicker 43CSC674 (6 3/4") in the front doors. The system sounds very good and plays plenty loud. Bass response is also decent for a system without a separate subwoofer. I ordered the wiring harness and had Crutchfield do the pre-wiring thing and it was well worth the money. Installation was a snap. I always thought remotes for car stereos were superfluous, but I find myself using this one from time to time.

Pros: Good power, lots of options, easy to use, remote control

Cons: Display a little hard to read in bright daylight.

I installed this in my daughters 2003 Subaru Baja. Fit perfectly, looks good, functions well and sounds good with some new Polk speakers. She has used it for several days and reports it works well with her Galaxay Note 9. She called me using the handsfree setup while driving at speed and the connection was crystal clear. Since it's not in my car I can't comment in depth about user functions but it seemed to be easy to use when I tried it immediately after installing it. Good value for the money.

Great headunit. Installed this in my girlfriends 2008 Nissan Xterra. The quality of sound between the factory unit and this one was just incredible, it truly unlocked the potential of the factory speakers. I would say it sounds almost as good as my Infiniti with premium audio, just after this headunit swap alone. I really like how simple it looks, and it doesn't look out of place. Too many aftermarket units look so tacky to me, but this one simply looks clean and not overdone. I will say there are two potential drawbacks. When the unit is in direct sunlight, it is hard to see the display, even with the brightness all the way up. Secondly, I wish that the face plate was not entirely gloss. I would much rather have it be flat black. Because although it looks amazing when its clean, it is never clean. There is always dust and hair on it, which totally ruin how appealing the gloss looks when its actually clean. All in all, for the price of the unit, I am satisfied, and I would HIGHLY recommend this has one of the best double din units in this price range. As always, Crutchfield service was outstanding.

Pros: Excellent Sound Quality, Superior Bass, Fantastic Cosmetic Design and the Illumination looks great, great value for the price.

Cons: Difficult to see in direct sunlight, the appeal of the glossy faceplate is ruined by how it shows dust.

Has the name Sony, cant go wrong there, there is a buzz when the cars running, I ordered a suppressor to see if that's the issue, I may have a over charge issue, the call tends to cycle at about 14.2- 14-6 volts, The Sony also has a volt meter in the deck, I like the dimming feature , and the options blue tooth etc. I like audio books, the bass boost is a plus, so far so good ..now to remove the buzz and this wil be a 5 star rating.

Pros: look in the car, with a dash kit that makes it look factory

You end up getting half way into a project and have to stop to order more parts. I ordered a complete set . Radio, harness, dash face, and antenna converter. Overall great head unit, looks awesome, great features (Aux, Bluetooth, etc.) instantly improved the sound even with the stock speakers, and it gets even better paired the Sony front speakers, installation was not very easy because I really had no idea what to do with the wiring but eventually I found out what to do and it was in in about 20 min. The lights are kind of dim in the daytime though, and if you get the Sony music app on your phone, it constantly asks to communicate with the stereo and it's kind of annoying, even if you press "ignore" or "allow" it will still pop up on your phone the next time the stereo shuts off and turns on again. But if you don't get the Sony music app, you won't have to deal with this. Bluetooth is awesome because as soon as I turn my car on, the Bluetooth automatically connects and starts playing music from my phone. No fiddling with aux cords or any of that. And if you leave your music cranked up really loud, and start your car the next morning, it doesn't instantly come in full blast and scare the crap out of you, it's starts off quiet and progressively gets louder until it reaches the volume it was last at. It only takes a second, it never bothers me, and I've really appreciated it some mornings. If you are looking for a stereo in this price range, I'd say this is definitely the way to go. Ive had it for over 6 months now and no problems.

Pros: Great features as stated in review, great price and quality

Cons: Just a few small nit picky cons: if you get the app on your phone it's constantly asking you to connect. The Bluetooth microphone isn't the best at picking up your voice, kind of hard to find a good place to mount it. Its also pretty difficult to remove a Bluetooth device from the stereo. If you aren't that picky all of these cons can be overlooked. Again, you're not gonna get much better for the price, and some of these cons may not apply to you or can easily be fixed!

This unit works without a hitch, the bluetooth connects easily, and the menu system is easy to navigate. I like the options for automatically dimming the display. Depending on the angle of your unit, if sunlit areas are reflected in the face, it can be difficult to read, but that's not the radio's fault. For us it fits our needs.

Unit is great. Pairing I phone, no issues. Sound of original factory speakers is much better, which is to be expected. Will be replacing original factory speakers in near future. Only issue was that the bolts to mount unit to mounting brackets were not included, which they were listed on the parts list. Had to go to local hardware store and purchase.

First of all, Crutchfield I love you!!....I have been your loyal customer for more than 20 years and you always makes me happy with every purchase. For anyone considering buying a budget radio with a hefty amount of features, don't look elsewhere and buy this puppy. Ton of power, easy to use interface, bluetooth (can pair two phones), 10 levels of equalization, clean looks (see the photo). I have installed almost every brand in all my previous cars (JVC, Pioneer, kenwood, Clarion). Never considered Sony as an alternative. My last two radios have been Sony (including this one) and they fully delivered. My car has the original speakers and the overall sound improved significantly. However, after installing the radio I realized how crappy the rear speakers are. So, I would need a pair of JBL's or Infinitys, pronto.

Pros: Ton of Power, Easy to Navigate interface, clean looks, good sound quality

Cons: Was not free....

Amazing headunit! Makes my stock speakers sound souch better. The Bluetooth is super for music and calls. The website said it wasn't compatible with my iPod classic but when I plugged it, it worked so major bonus there. Great unit for the price point. Love the 20w RMS per channel and the 6 preamp outs. The smart extra bass sounds amazing too as it doesn't clip the signal.

Awesome unit! Everything you want in a car stereo. The CD player reads all the track titles, artist name, song length, etc. Other players do no such thing. Blue tooth is a great feature and also has a handy USB port and clock. You can adjust the brightness for the display, which I did and no problem with sun glare. It also display information from radio stations. Sony makes great products! Highly recommended!

Awesome receiver. Multiple color light display options even change between different colors in rainbow mode. Sound sync will pulse the lights to the beat of the music but not for me it looks like your display/accent lights are going out. They should of gone with an EQ bar that bounced with the beat. Over all it went in nicely with a little patience and time ....accedories for install were needed so make sure you grab the recommended install parts. Awesome product at awesome price... microphone mounted to dash nicely and phone connects with ease (android). No cons I can see as of yet.

Pros: Send & recieve calls, Bluetooth, Mp3, USB & Aux port, Pandora & Sirius compatible. Android & iPhone

Cons: The number 4 preset button is on other side of volume knob, from drivers seat sometimes bump volume knob while reaching to select 4 button preset. But don't care. Still awesome. Highly recommend.

Another excellent product by Sony. I haven't read up on all the features it has as I don't plan on using the Sirius or Pandora and I don't keep music on my phone. This was one of the more basic models I could find that still had a CD player. Highly recommend the Crutchfield wiring harness pre-wiring hook-up service purchased separately. Everyone I spoke to at Crutchfield ( I called 5 or 6 times I think lol ) for questions/assistance was very patient & extremely helpful. It had been almost 10 years since I last purchased from them the entire process was as outstanding as I remember. The only drawback to the audio system is that in my rural area some roads can be not so great and the CD seems to skip more than my factory (Kia) one did. Unsure if it's because it only has (2) mounting screws/locations on each side instead of the 4 that the factory system had.

Exactly what I've grown accustomed to from Sony. Good sound, good price, all the features I needed and a minimum of extra fluff. Install was a breeze (Thanks to Crutchfield's installation inclusions/instructions), and the head unit works very well. Switched to this unit from an extremely complex Kenwood touch-screen unit that had too many features to be user friendly. This Sony is all that and a bag of chips, easy to operate and easily integrated with external amp and sub. . My only complaint is that the LED display is kind of dim compared to the LEDs in the face (buttons and trim). Would prefer if the information display was brighter for easier legibility.

Pros: Simplicity of install and operation. good sound, good price point.

Cons: Display slightly dim.

All around decent receiver. I needed something that would play Pandora and did not want to spend a lot. The only issues I have is that I don't see any way to change the display color where the text is displayed. I can change all the button colors but the text display stays a light blue. The Bluetooth connectivity is not the greatest I often have to reconnect my phone or open Pandora on my phone to get it going. I would say about 70% of the time when I get in the car it connects and starts playing the other 30% I have to fiddle with it.If either of these issues turn out to be operator error I will update rating.

Pros: Good Sound

Cons: Bluetooth spotty

I needed a Bluetooth head unit for my old T-100. I've installed a Blaupunkt New Jersey in two of my cars, but that unit is no longer available. Sony 920 was my other choice. Good sound, easy set up. Looks good, not OEM good, but good enough. Only complaint was the factory harness was bad from the factory. I found the grey speaker wire had a broken pin lock. Built-in Bluetooth

Bluetooth 3.0: The Sony WX-920BT is equipped with built-in Bluetooth (version 3.0), allowing you to make and receive phone calls wirelessly through the receiver; as well as stream music wirelessly from your smartphone to the head unit. In order to use Bluetooth wireless technology, your phone must also be Bluetooth compatible and be able to interpret certain profiles. This unit is compatible with the following Bluetooth Profiles:

  • Hands-Free Communication: HFP 1.6 (Hands Free Profile), PBAB 1.0 (Phone Book Access Profile).
  • Audio Streaming: A2DP 1.3 (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP 1.3 (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Sony WX-920BT.

Multi-Device Pairing w/ Dual-Phone Connection: Up to nine Bluetooth-compatible devices can be paired to this receiver. You are even able to keep two Bluetooth-enabled phones connected at the same time, so you can make and receive calls from either phone through the head unit. Only one audio device can be connected at a time, which means only one of the two connected phones can stream audio. Once an already paired device is in close proximity to the Sony receiver, the two units will automatically re-connect. The head unit offers three pairing modes - SSP, NFC, & USB Auto

  • Simple Secure Pairing: With Simple Secure Pairing (SSP), you can easily pair a Bluetooth enabled phone to the Sony WX-920BT without having to enter pin codes or go through complicated settings.
  • Near Field Communication (for Android): Android (OS 4.0+) smartphones that have Near Field Communication (NFC) pair simply by touching the Android device's NFC tag to the head unit's NFC tag on its rotary-knob. For older Android smartphones that don't have OS 4.0 or better installed, download the NFC Easy Connect app from Google Play to use the head unit's NFC pairing function.
  • USB Auto (for iPhone): You can pair your Apple iPhone (iOS 5.0+) by simply connecting it to the Sony head unit via USB and activating the Bluetooth function on your Apple device.

Hands-Free Communication w/ External Mic: The Sony WX-920BT supports Bluetooth hands-free communication for your Bluetooth enabled cell-phone (such as your iPhone or Android smartphone). Bluetooth hands-free communication helps to minimize distraction while driving by allowing you to control your mobile phone from the head unit, so you don't have to touch your mobile phone. The unit features an external microphone (featuring adjustable gain), so you can carry on your side of the conversation while listening to the caller through your vehicles front speakers. And thanks to the latest Hands-Free Profile (HFP 1.6) with wideband speech capability, the WX-920BT provides more natural sound quality and details during wireless calls.

I wanted to update the stereo that was in the 2008 GMC truck I just bought. The music played on the majority of the radio stations in my area makes me keep the stereo off most of the time and the factory stereo doesn't have a USB port or so I go without music most of the time. My previous 1995 GMC truck had a custom stereo in it that I had installed and I missed it a lot, so, I'm now starting an update on the 2008. I had used a Sony stereo in the past and liked it so I'll try one again. [ Russell  Mar 31, 2019 ]

The touchscreen on my previous purchase (Pioneer AVH4000NEX) failed. And it was very difficult to operate without taking my eyes off the road. I've learned my lesson. Tactile controls offer a much better user experience and are decidedly safer in a vehicle. I encourage you to choose the unit with just as many, or fewer features than you think you need. Avoiding feature overload should be a selection criteria. [ ELI  Oct 26, 2018 ]

Q
Use of a subwoofer without an amplifier. Will the subwoofer produce quality bass?
[ Ngula  Apr 22, 2019 ]
3 answers
A
The Sony "face" we are talking about has a sub output connection behind it. So, I believe (about 75% sure) that it will produce bass, however, most likely sure that the bass will not be audible to the normal ear. Over time, the system will be superior to a standard system. Thats my best input for the question/problem. A crutchfield supporter
[ Barry  Apr 22, 2019 ]
A
The subwoofer output in the back is only for signal to an amplifier, so I would not expect good quality bass.
[ Clayton Fisher  Apr 22, 2019 ]

I do not have a subwoofer installed.

sounds like you don't have the memory wire hooked up to a constant source of 12v. need to find a wire that doesn't go off with the key switch.
[ kenneth  Apr 25, 2019 ]
A
No, not normal. I only adjust mine for daylight savings time. Maybe your battery connection or a wire is loose and it is losing all power when you shut off the car. I would ask Crutchfield or Sony tech support
[ PATRICIA  Apr 23, 2019 ]
A
I don't think it's normal.

I purchased this stereo for my father's truck. He does have an issue with the time changing by one hour every day. But it is only if he has it on a certain FM station. I can only assume that it is being reset using the broadcaster's RDS information. If we change stations and also reset the time, it will stay correct until the tuner is changed to this particular station. Within five minutes, the time goes back an hour.

Q
Has anyone hooked up an aftermarket amplifier and sub to this?
[ Terrence  Aug 05, 2018 ]

A
I hooked up a cheap dual 10" powered sub to it. works well, just plug in the jacks and butt connect the blue remote wire to stereo.
[ reklaw  Mar 07, 2019 ]
A
Yes. I have the Rockford 10" powered sub. It works really well. I turn bass boost off, EQ flat, and adjust the subwoofer output to what I want. Super easy to use. Only issue I have (and don't know if it's my iPhone X or the Sony unit) Bluetooth doesn't always auto connect. You can also infinitely adjust the backlighting to match your factory backlight. And it dims with the headlights on.
[ Justin  Aug 10, 2018 ]
A
no I just added JBL speakers no amp or sub- sorry

Crutchfield says 17 watts rms but manual says 20 watts rms ??
[ david  Mar 10, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
The manual that came with the radio says 20 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms < 1% THD+n. I'd go with what the manual says as crutchfield cant modify the radio.
