The Ring Glass Break Sensor recognizes the sound of breaking glass from up to 25 feet away. That means it can cover multiple windows in single room. When it senses glass breaking, you'll get an alert on your phone. You can also set it to trigger the siren on your Ring Alarm (sold separately).
If you have a Ring Protect Pro plan (sold separately), the monitoring center will contact you when a glass break sensor is triggered. If they can't reach you or your other listed emergency contacts, they will dispatch emergency responders to your address.
Add one or more of these sensors to your 8-piece kit or 14-piece kit and get an extra layer of security. Or custom-build your system from the options below.

More details on the Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor
Overview: The Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor is an important add-on to your Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro. With advanced AI (artificial intelligence) technology, it can monitor the areas around your doors and windows and detect the sound of shattering glass. The sensor is 3-3/4" in diameter and just under 1" in height. It weighs 5.7 ounces, and has a monitoring range of up to 25 feet. Two Ring Glass Break Sensors are included in this special multi-pack.
Functionality: The Glass Break Sensor "listens" for the sound of different types of breaking glass. When breaking glass is detected, the sensor sends a signal to your Ring Alarm base, which will send an instant alert to your smartphone, tablet, or computer. When triggered, the sensor can be set to automatically sound the siren on your Ring Alarm when it is armed in Home or Away mode. If you have a Ring Protect subscription with Professional Monitoring, you can choose to receive a call from the monitoring center whenever the Glass Break Sensor is triggered, and request emergency assistance if needed. With a subscription, you can set your connected Ring Doorbells or Ring Cameras to start recording video when the siren sounds.
Connectivity: The Glass Break Sensor communicates with the Alarm Base via Z-Wave, a leading wireless technology with a range of up to 250 feet (open air, line-of-sight).
Installation: The Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor is easy to install. It can be placed on a flat surface, such as a table or shelf, or mounted to a wall or on the ceiling. You can use the two included screws and wall anchors or the 2-1/2" x 1-3/4" adhesive pad on the back for mounting the sensor where you desire. The sensor should be placed at least 7" off the floor and close to your glass windows and doors. It can monitor multiple windows at once. Operating temperature is 32°F to 120°F.
Power: The sensor is powered with three "AA" alkaline batteries (installed). Typical battery life with the included batteries is up to three years. Battery life may be affected by usage, device settings, environment, and other factors.
Availability with a much appreciated price discount. Foremost was the almost immediate shipping. It was shipped the same day ordered without the all too common "label prepared" notification that often lingers for days with other merchants.
