Product Research

Overview: The Ring Quick-release Battery Pack is an accessory for Ring Video Doorbell 2, Ring Spotlight Cam Battery, and the Ring Stick Up Cam Battery. This high-capacity Lithium-Ion battery (3.65V, 6040mAh, 22.046Wh) has a quick-release clip that makes it easy to remove from the camera for charging. The Ring Spotlight Cam Battery has dual battery compartments, but only comes with a single battery. Adding an extra battery essentially doubles the battery life of the camera.

Charging: The battery charges via USB using the supplied Micro USB cable, plugged directly into the battery. The battery charges in approximately 5 to 10 hours, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet.  LEDs on the front of the battery indicate the charge level. A fully charged battery will last between 6 and 12 months, or approximately 1000 notification events. You will receive notification through the Ring app when the battery is getting low as you use the app with the Ring Video Doorbell or Spotlight Cam Battery.

Have video Ring doorbell and eventually had ir hardwired as I didn't want to keep recharging the battery. When recharging, the doorbell was inoperable. So when I ordered the Ring video spotlight, I went ahead and ordered a spare battery. [ Nanette  Jul 13, 2018 ]
Purchased this very good battery as a spare for my Ring Video Doorbell 2 and Ring Spotlight Camera. [ Fik  May 21, 2018 ]
