There are some dark corners of my yard that I'd love to light up, but I hate the thought of using a bunch of batteries to do it. This solar wall light is a great solution. Mount it along a fence, garage, or any other flat exterior surface, and it will light your way. It can sense motion up to thirty feet away, and the built-in solar panel across the top keeps the internal batteries charged, so you never need to worry about swapping them out. And if you want to use this light in a spot that doesn't have direct sun exposure, its built-in batteries can be recharged with the included micro USB cable. That means you can tuck this weather-resistant light pretty much anywhere you need a little illumination.
And if you connect it to your Ring ecosystem using the Ring Smart Lighting Bridge (sold separately), it can do more than shine a light. When someone enters the motion zone, it will not only light up the area, but it will also send a notification to your phone to let you know. And if you have it grouped with other lights, it can turn those on, too.
If you are a Ring Protect subscriber, you can even have it trigger recording on your other Ring cameras and doorbells so you catch motion events even earlier.
Alexa, turn on the lights
When you connect your light via the Bridge, you can use select Alexa-enabled devices to control your it using your voice. And Alexa can speak up when one of your lights or motion sensors detects motion.

Overview: The Ring Wall Light Solar can light up driveways, garages, and other outdoor areas with bright white light. The light is equipped with a motion sensor which turns on the light when motion is detected. When the Ring Light Solar is connected to the Ring Bridge, you can control it from your smartphone or tablet through the Ring app, receive notifications, and link it to other Ring devices, such as Ring cameras or doorbell cams.
Installation: The wall light mounts to most surfaces with the included bracket and screws. It should be mounted in areas with direct sunlight in order to keep the internal batteries charged. The light is weather resistant (IP66 rated), and can be used in temperatures ranging from -4°F and 122°F.
Motion Detection: The Ring Wall Light Solar's motion detector has a 140° field of view with an adjustable range of up to 30 feet. When motion is detected, the wall light turn on to illuminate the area. If linked to the Ring Bridge, the sensor will send real-time notifications on your phone or tablet to alert you of activity in your yard.
Lighting: The Wall Light Solar produces up to 800 lumens of light with a color temperature of 3500K (bright white). From the Ring app, you can adjust the brightness of the light, turn on a dusk-to-dawn mode, and set light schedules.
Power: The Ring Wall Light Solar contains two 18650 Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries (3.7V, 3200mAh, 11.84Wh). Before installing, the batteries should be fully charged using the included USB cable. The built-in solar panel continually recharges the batteries when in direct sunlight. If the light is not placed in an area with sufficient sunlight, you can remove the light to recharge the batteries when needed. If needed, you can connect the optional Ring Solar Panel for better recharging. The 18650 batteries are user replaceable, and are available commercially.
Ring App: The free Ring - Always Home app pulls together all of your Ring devices, including the Wall Light Solar (connection to the Ring Bridge required). The app sends you an instant alert to your phone or tablet whenever your motion is detected. You can create groups of individual lights and smart plugs and control them together. If you have a Ring Doorbell or Camera, and a Ring Protect subscription, you can link them together with the Ring Wall Light Solar to trigger recordings when motion is detected by the wall light. The Ring App is available for Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 11.0 or later, and for Android devices running version 5.0 and up. The app also works with Windows 10 and Mac OS.
Alexa Support: The Ring Wall Light Solar can be controlled via compatible Alexa-enabled devices when the light is connected to the Ring Bridge.
