Shure SM58
Crutchfield customer from University Park, MD on 5/29/2018
We just bought two of these SM-58's to go with two SM-57's for our acoustic Irish band. It's hard to say anything new about one of the industry standards, but right out of the box the vocals were clean and crisp, even on an outdoor gig.

Great mic, it has become a legend and for good reason
Pros: Great natural sound
Cons: No on-off switch. For home recording this is not a problem. When singing live and you get feedback it is nice to be able to shut the mic off.

No Brainer
Rod from Hamilton, Ohio on 8/1/2014
This mic is the best choice for me and hundreds of other singers. All you need to do is look at what some of the best singers are using on stage and the case is closed. If you have this mic you know you are getting one of the best voice mic's out there.
Pros: Home studio Live gigs

The SM 58
Perry N. from Crossville, Alabama on 5/22/2014
Playing on stage, this has been the best over all mikes that I have ever used. With the range of this mike, you can sing the lowest of lows and highest of highs with the greatest of ease. It is one of the toughest mikes if dropped or thrown. Just pick it up and sing your heart out! Try one or 10 today and see what I'm raving about.
Pros: Wide range, clarity and toughness. The best used by millions.
Cons: There are no cons!!!
