Many power conditioners of this style join their AC outlets together, running each in series. This isn't ideal because the "differential mode" noise generated by the power supplies of your other connected electronics will cross-contaminate from one outlet to the next. Corvus's outlets are wired to avoid this scenario.
Corvus also fights the "common mode" noise caused by RFI (radio frequency interference) and EMI (electromagnetic interference).

Overview: The IsoTek EVO3 Corvus takes the design of the EVO3 Polaris and extends it to 9 outlets (3-prong US) with higher total wattage capability. Corvus helps improve the performance of your audio and video components by significantly removing noise from the AC line. Corvus' delta filter topology eliminates both Differential mode and Common mode interference, and reduces Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) by up to 30dB. All outlets are connected individually to the central circuit board, so there's no cross-contamination between components. Corvus also provides protection from power surges and voltage spikes. Its dimensions are 5-13/16"W x 1-7/8"H x 14-3/8"L, and it weighs 3.63 pounds. EVO3 Corvus comes with a 1.5-meter IsoTek EVO3 Premier power cable in the box.
Design: The EVO3 Corvus power bar is housed in a sleek extruded aluminum chassis for long lasting performance. The unit can be wall mounted behind your equipment cabinet, or simply placed behind your audio rack. It has nine top-mounted US 3-prong outlets, and a fused IEC C-20 power input for the included Premier power cable. Internally, the power bar is wired with multi-strand silver-plated OFC copper with PTFE dielectric for maximum conductivity.
Noise Filtering: EVO3 Corvus is designed specifically for connecting home audio and video equipment. It features highly effective noise filtering that eliminates Common Mode and Differential Mode, and reduces RFI by up to 30dB. Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) are detrimental to audio and video performance. Filtering out noise can enhance the sound of your audio components and improve the picture on your TV or projector.
Isolated Outlets: The nine AC outlets are all individually connected back to the power input, rather than in series with the big copper bus bars typically found in lesser power strips. The individual connections eliminate any harmful Differential Mode cross contamination between your connected components. In addition, the EVO3 Corvus uses a star grounding scheme for each outlet to effectively prevent ground loops.
Protection: EVO3 Corvus not only reduces noise, it also protects your valuable component from dangerous power surges and voltage spikes. The power bar offers up to 13,500A of instantaneous protection, with IsoTek's unique sequential protection system.
Premium Power Cable: The EVO3 Corvus power bar comes with the IsoTec EVO3 Premium power cable. Premium power cables use three parallel conductors (2.0 sqcm each) that are precisely wound inside the jacket with a slight rotational twist to reject RFI and EMI noise. The conductors are made of silver-plated 99.9999% OFC (oxygen-free copper) for exceptional conductivity. The EVO3 Premium power cable is terminated with high-grade molded connectors with solid OFC (90% copper/10% zinc) and 24ct gold-plated conductors.
