About the Bazooka F.A.S.T.-9999
Bazooka's Factory Audio System T-harness (F.A.S.T.) system provides a quick, reliable, and great-sounding connection between your car stereo and your amplified Bazooka tube.
The F.A.S.T.-9999 universal connection harness works in conjunction with the Bazooka F.A.S.T.-BTAH extension cable, and gives you an easy way to integrate a Bazooka 100-watt Bass Tube into your factory or aftermarket sound system. The wires taps are color-coded for easy identification just insert the wire to be tapped into the Posi-Tap cap and hand-tighten into the barrel (the conductor point pierces the tapped wire no crimping or cutting required). Run ground wire, mount the powered Bass Tube, connect the F.A.S.T.-BTAH cable to the tube, and enjoy some responsive bass. The F.A.S.T. system does not work with 200-watt Bass Tubes. Application: The Bazooka FAST-9999 universal harness allows quick and easy installation of your amplified Bazooka tube with your factory or aftermarket radio when used with the optional FAST-BTAH extension cable (item number 204FASTBTA, sold separately).
Compatibility: The FAST-9999 harness/BTAH extension combination is compatible with most factory and aftermarket head units and with most 100 watt and 50 watt amplified Bazooka Tubes, including (but not limited to):
- BTA6100, BTA8100, BTA10100
- MBTA8100, MBTA10100
- BTA850FH, BTA8100FHC, BTA10100FHC (included with these models)
Connection: The FAST-9999 universal harness has a 6-pin Molex plug on one side that connects to the FAST-BTAH extension cable (sold separately, see above). On the other side are 6 Posi-Tap connectors that hardwire to your radio's harness (the six wires include left and right speaker-level audio positive and negative, switched power, and turn-on trigger). Posi-Tap connectors allow you to tap into wires without cutting or stripping them. Each connector has a tapered design and a threaded cap on each end. Just insert the wire to be tapped into the cap and hand tighten into the barrel. The conductor point pierces the tapped wire without compromising its conductive integrity.
