More cones for more sound

The KMT67 sports 6-3/4" drivers in sleek enclosures — that's some serious cone area putting out impressive sound levels. All the details are in there too, thanks to two horn-loaded, titanium-dome tweeters that deliver long-range output and superior dispersion. With these Kickers on your boat, you'll definitely be able to hear your music over the wind and waves!

Weatherproof and versatile

The entire assembly is made for marine use. The weatherproof speakers use sealed cones and motor assemblies to resist spray, plus UV-treated components that stand up to punishing sunlight. You can mount the enclosures below or above the bar and you can remove the grilles, so you can choose the location and look that's best for your boat (or your Jeep). Billet-aluminum brackets and clamp inserts adjust to seven common sizes, matching most wake tower or roll-bar diameters.

Bought these for my wake boat and I am impressed with the quality and they sound great. Mounting to wake tower was easy, sturdy mounts but I have not taken on lake yet so can't comment on how well the brackets hold up to constant pounding of the water.

Pros: Nice design and great sound

Cons: All the wasted plastic spacers for various wake tower tube sizes, seems like you could order spacers to the size you need pretty easy without having to get all of them in the box.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The Kicker KMT67 long-range tower speaker system consists of two UV treated injection molded ABS enclosures, each housing two 6-1/2" woofers and one 3/4" tweeter. The enclosures are designed to attach to your boat's wakeboard tower (or your Jeep's roll bar if you prefer) using the included hardware.

Drivers: The dual 6-1/2" woofers have rubber surrounds, are UV treated, and have sealed cone and motor assemblies to stand up to the environment. The 3/4" titanium dome tweeters are exponential horn-loaded and protected by open-cell foam.

Mounting: The KMT67 speakers use billet-aluminum mounting brackets and include inserts for seven common wakeboard tower tube sizes; 1-5/8", 1-3/4", 1-7/8", 2", 2-1/4", 2-3/8", and 2-1/2". Once the speakers are in place, but before the brackets are tightened, you can adjust the angle so they fire in the correct direction. The brackets are bolted to the top (or bottom if you flip it over) of the speakers, so custom brackets could be used for unique applications.

Note: The surface of the speaker enclosure is not flat, so they cannot simply be bolted to a flat surface.

Terminals: Each KMT67 speaker has a 5-way binding post to accommodate spade, pin, banana, and dual banana connectors, as well as bare wire up to 8 gauge.

Dimensions:

  • Width: 19-1/8"
  • Height: 9" (10-5/8" from the center of the tower when mounted)
  • Depth: 11-1/2"

Customer Q&A

Q
Crutchfield asked: Why did you buy this?
A
Kicker speakers provide great quality for an affordable price! [ LAURIE N  Mar 13, 2017 ]

Q
What is the weight on a set?
[ Kason  May 12, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
We don't have the weight of a set in our specs and Kicker does not provide that information in the manual. If you use the supplied mounting clamps most any wake tower or roll bar will hold them.

Q
Can I mount these on my motorcycle ???
[ Dustin  Jul 26, 2018 ]
4 answers
A
Unless you have a really big motorcycle, I don't think it would be practical.Width: 19-1/8" Height: 9" (10-5/8" from the center of the tower when mounted) Depth: 11-1/2". That is the size of the speakers from the website.
[ KENNETH B  Aug 01, 2018 ]
A
I mounted them on the tower of my boat and they are fabulous for that purpose. I would think they'd be much too big for a motorcycle. However, they would work well for Polaris Razor or other 2-4 seater quad.
[ Chad  Jul 27, 2018 ]
A
Look at the demensions. They are pretty big. I don't know where they would fit in a motorcycle.
[ DARREN  Jul 27, 2018 ]
A
No, they are larger then you may think, and a little heavy.
[ MARVIN A.  Jul 27, 2018 ]
Q
Do these kicker speakers come in white?
[ Gregory L.  Jan 16, 2018 ]
2 answers
A
I have never seen these in white, but I did spray paint my grilles of mine yellow to match my boat and they came out nice. The new spray paints made for plastic are awesome, but if you do it, don't buy cheap paint.
[ David  Jan 17, 2018 ]
A
No, they come exactly as pictured!
[ Airis  Jan 16, 2018 ]
Q
Are these 150W RMS per speaker or per pair?
[ GP4646  Jul 29, 2017 ]
1 answer
A
Thanks for your question. The power ranges we list are for each individual speaker. Hope this helps.

Q
479.99 a pair is that a set of 2 meaning 4 speakers or 2 total speakers?
[ Trent  Mar 24, 2017 ]

A
Thanks for your question. Yes there are 2 pods included in purchase. 4 speakers total. Hope this helps.
