Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CS-series speakers feature polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to moisture and the temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

We only have a fitment guide for speakers that we carry so we wouldn't be able to say for certainty if that DS18 model would work however we have plenty of other models that would. My vehicle was not equipped from factory with speakers but the connection is there. Will this just be a plug and play set up or will I need more components to get to work?

I've had these speakers installed for 2 years now, almost to the day. I've only put 1,000 miles on my Durango since (I bought a new car the same week I did my speakers so it's not a daily driver anymore), but something I haven't ever been happy about is the low quality of the speakers in my Durango when I do drive it. I had nice pioneers before, too nice, but someone popped the cones with a screwdriver when it was broken into, so I thought let me try Kicker. Affordable, decent reviews. After 2 years of fuzz and very weak sound with a stereo that should power them like the pioneers... personally, I'm over it and replacing with another brand. Sometimes your issue is a amp issue when you get distortion or bad sign, but I personally think it's just that these aren't high quality or dynamic at all. I don't even know why kicker would put their name on them. Their subs are really nice and powerful, but door speakers, I'm not convinced.

they work well up to mid volume then they'll start to pop I am running an alpine deck with an alpine amp I think it's somewhere the way the amp is set up but I haven't called Crutchfield yet to work through it the one thing that they told me to do I have done and did not cure the problem So I have to dig deeper into it but I haven't had the time

Yes, but I recommend hooking them up to an amp. I hooked these and my front 6x9's up to a kicker amo and it made all the difference. The frequency is slightly lower than other models so the amp is night and day towards the sound! Hope this helps. If not, I recommend the Rockford Fosgates, I had those as well!

They work great in full power. No distortion but I'm also not pushing mine very hard. The receiver I have is only rated at about 45 watts rms. I'm very pleased with sound for the size that they are
