About the Kicker 47KBRW12 ReFLEX™

Big boom for boxes with low internal volumes

Ports require larger enclosures to be effective and can sometimes produce unwanted noise. When paired with a compatible 12" subwoofer, Kicker's 47KBRW12 12" passive radiator lets you get the punch of a ported box in a small sealed enclosure that can fit in more places in your vehicle. Kicker recommends using a subwoofer with a recommended box volume of 0.7 cubic feet, such as a Kicker CompRT subwoofer.

Customer Q&A

3 questions already asked

Q
The recommended box size of 0.7 is that for the passive radiator or is that for the entire box including say with a compr? Or is it 0.7 + the size of the compr too?
[ Aaron  Sep 13, 2020 ]

A
Hi Aaron. The specs listed include the use of a subwoofer that works with a sealed enclosure of 0.7 cubic feet of airspace, along with this Kicker passive radiator. The Kicker CompRT 43CWRT122 is the subwoofer that is recommended to be used along side of the 47KBRW12 ReFlex passive radiator.

Can these be used with most any sub as long as the sub is suitable for a ported enclosed?
