Solid through and through

Kicker's 43CSC654 speakers feature a 6-1/2" polypropylene woofer that delivers a full sound with the help of a polyester foam surround that will stay strong for years to come. The 1/2" PEI balanced dome tweeter adds crisp instrumental and vocal detail. You'll get good results powering these speakers with a factory radio or an aftermarket car stereo, but they'll knock your socks off when you drive them with an external amplifier. Grilles are included.

Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CSC-series speakers feature polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to moisture and the temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

Balanced-Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1/2" PEI (polyetherimide) balanced-dome tweeter. A balanced dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone, with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome sections.

Mounting: In addition to fitting standard 6-1/2 and 4-hole 6-1/2 applications, the CSC65 also has a standard 6-3/4 bolt pattern. However, if mounted in a 6-3/4 location the holes for the smaller pattern create an air leak, which should be sealed using a speaker baffle, or something similar.

Q
Can i install 2 8 inch free air subs in the rear deck where 6 x 9 suppose to go on my 2017 Chevrolet impala premier?
[ Ramon  Jul 27, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
That might be possible, but it would be more of a "custom" installation with modifications required to the 6x9" opening in your rear deck. For more details on that, please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat. They can help give you a better idea on what options are available.

Q
2000 jaguar xkr alpine speakers factory are 2ohm i believe replacement kicker 6.5 4ohm will this work ok and what would be the variences in the 100w kickers?
[ Mike  Sep 13, 2017 ]
1 answer
A
The factory stereo would view the kicker speakers as a more resistive load and in theory would produce less sound at equivalent volume as your factory speakers. The good news is that you wouldn't overload your factory radio. If you wanted to match the resistance you could run 2 sets in parallel to make the factory radio see a 2 ohm load

Are these speakers better than the stock in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata?
[ Rustin  Aug 29, 2017 ]

Thanks for your question. For information on comparing different spakers I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences and help you make the best choice for your system and your budget.

Q
Is the 100rms total for the pair (50rms each)? Or is each speaker rated at 100rms... I have a head unit that pushes out 22rms so I'm thinking I need an external amp because these speakers distort at high volumes. I want to know what power rating amp I should get for these.
[ Justin  Jul 10, 2017 ]

A
Yes you need an amp because mine distort bad but I use a amp 8 inch sub power combo too under my jeep seat
[ Patrick  Jul 11, 2017 ]
A
They are rated at 100 watts RMS each. Mine are powered by a 4 channel amp at 70 watts RMS and they sound fantastic, but if you don't have an external amp I'd recommend speakers with a lower power requirement.
[ Tyler  Jul 11, 2017 ]
Q
Will the speakers fit in the original spaces in the dash of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK? I've read that it will be a chore (all day job) but being patient will get the job done.

[ James L.  Jan 06, 2017 ]

80-100 rms
[ Luis  Jan 06, 2017 ]
A
Root Mean Square - In audio it is the continuous or music power that the amplifier can deliver.
[ Stewart  Jan 06, 2017 ]
A
Rms is root mean square. So if a subwoofer is rated at 300 watts and a max of a max of 300 rms. It's rated at 300 watts and can peak at usually double of the rated wattage for a peak amount of wattage. So 600 watts peak.
[ DC  Jan 06, 2017 ]
Q
Are these better than the 40cs line?
[ David  Jan 02, 2017 ]
1 answer
A
Kicker's new 43CS line of speakers are nearly identical to the 40CS speakers they replaced in terms of sound quality and audio performance. The one noticeable difference is the new 43CS speakers are slightly lower-profile and don't require as much mounting clearance as the 40CS; so they can fit into a wider variety of vehicle models without sacrificing on performance. I hope that helps!
