Solid through and through

Kicker's 43CSC674 6-3/4" speakers feature a polypropylene woofer that delivers a full sound with the help of a polyester foam surround that will stay strong for years to come. The 1/2" PEI balanced dome tweeter adds crisp instrumental and vocal detail. You'll get good results powering these speakers with a factory radio or an aftermarket car stereo, but they'll knock your socks off when you drive them with an external amplifier. Grilles are included.

Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CSC-series speakers feature polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to moisture and the temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

Balanced-Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1/2" PEI (polyetherimide) balanced-dome tweeter. A balanced dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone, with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome sections.

Q
Is the amplifier made to increase the sound volume or to improve the quality of it? I'm asking bc I don't like loud music but I like the quality sound
[ ZaidAtlanta  Jul 25, 2018 ]

A
It will improve sound quality by delivering more power to speakers which improves clarity at lower volume allowing one to crank it if wanted. I am running this amp to power 6x9 component speakers in front and 6.5 in rear... while it doesn't thump as some of my trucks in the past with $1000+ steario sub and amps it does sound very good for being all stock replacement stuff... this little amp is worth it bought and installed a second one in wife's car

Q
I have these painted up with a pioneer ash-201ex headunit and they sound awful at higher volumes. Does anyone have suggestions on how to make them sound better? I've heard mostly positive things about these speakers and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if an amp will fix the issue.

I was disappointed at the performance of my Kicker speakers that I installed in my car until I added an amplifier. The speakers really showed their potential then.
[ Christopher  Aug 22, 2018 ]
A
Typically speakers sound a whole lot better when driven by a dedicated amplifier. I imagine at high volume, your head unit is causing a lot of distortion.

Q
Hpf setting (off/60/80/120hz) on alpine ktp-445u using kicker csc67 speakers into an â??18 wrangler non-alpine system w/no sub?
[ Damon  Apr 14, 2018 ]

A
Since you're not using a subwoofer in your system, I'd suggest leaving the HPF set to "off" so you don't limit the bass from your Kicker speakers. For more details or to discuss further please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat. Thanks!

Sorry, that job was only using an alpine head unit to power the kicker speakers so we did not need any type of crossover

Q
Your guy's website states that these speakers (Kicker 43CSC674) will fit my 2013 Toyota Corolla S' (6 Speaker Configuration) front doors. However I noticed that the stock speakers are 6 1/2 inches. I went to a local Best Buy (where I'm looking to get them installed) and they said it wouldn't fit. Will I actually be able to fit these speaker in my car?

Q
Kicker lists the 43CSC674 as a fit for a 2011 Wrangler 2dr without the Infinity system. Is there a reason why Crutchfield says it won't fit?
