Solid through and through

Kicker's 43CSC674 6-3/4" speakers feature a polypropylene woofer that delivers a full sound with the help of a polyester foam surround that will stay strong for years to come. The 1/2" PEI balanced dome tweeter adds crisp instrumental and vocal detail. You'll get good results powering these speakers with a factory radio or an aftermarket car stereo, but they'll knock your socks off when you drive them with an external amplifier. Grilles are included.

  • polypropylene woofer cone with polyester foam surround
  • 1/2" polyetherimide (PEI) balanced dome tweeter
  • handles up to 100 watts RMS (300 watts peak power)
  • frequency response: 40-20,000 Hz
  • sensitivity: 90 dB
  • top-mount depth: 1-7/8"
  • grilles included

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've owned these speakers for a little over a month now and am running them as my 2019 Nissan Sentra's front speakers with Kicker 43CSC654 6.5"s in my rear deck. I'm using a JL Audio XD400/4v2 to power them at 100 W RMS. I haven't been super impressed with them, really. They don't seem to handle loud volumes well and the highs get extremely harsh. No amount of tuning or EQ adjustments seem to help this at all and they just wear my ears out. I'm sure some will like the way these sound, but I'll definitely be replacing them as soon as I can.

Pros: - Easy install. - Seem well built. - Very loud bass. - Seem alright for the price range.

Cons: - Painfully harsh highs, even at medium volumes. No amount of EQ or amp adjustment fixed this. - Don't seem to handle lots of volume well. Maybe it's just my own personal audio tastes.

2012 Kia Optima
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great speakers and super easy to install in my 2012 Kia. I did these speakers in all 4 doors because I did not want to mess with running cross over wires to the dash corners. In the dash corners I installed the same speaker (3.5in version w/bass blockers). Even though the 3.5 are not a direct fit in those locations, they worked with very minimal alterations to the surrounding area. With a few adjustments of the factory EQ settings to my sound preferences, I am extremely satisfied with my new sound and the cost. I was able to completly update my car from the factory paper come speakers for around $140.

Pros: Easy install, great support.

Cons: Honestly none. The things I had to tweak for the install were due to the standards offered from Kicker and had nothing to do with Crutchfield. There is no way for the manufactures or suppliers like Crutchfield to account for every small nuance of specific vehicles.

You wont be disappointed

2013 Honda Civic EX
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed these in my kiddo's 2013 Honda Civic EX sedan - installation guide made it really easy. I did have to drill a few holes in the front door to line up with the holes in the speaker frames in the front doors. Initially, these were paired with the baseline head unit. The sound was a little better but not what we were looking for. After we upgraded the head unit to a Kenwood DMX7705S.. they sound AMAZING. Don't judge these speakers until you put them with a good head unit.

Pros: Relatively easy install, excellent sound when paired with upgraded head unit - bass rattled the car!

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Kicker 43CSC674 breathed new life into my 2017 Sonata audio system. The old speakers lacked tweeters and struggled to clearly enunciate voice sound. The Kicker speakers also provide plenty of bass. I'm a returning crutchfield customer and am pleased to see the product offering, installation accessories and even delivery speed are still top notch. I plan to order a set of speakers for the back doors soon. Highly recommend crutchfield!

Pros: improved sound quality over stock. solid construction

Cons: would like even more bass response

The Kickers work great with my Bose system coupled with my new Pioneer receiver.

Pros: Easy to install once the trim panels are off! The wiring kit makes this a breeze.

Cons: Not the product fault but it would have been nice if GM made the speakers accessible via the speaker grill on the door panel.

Standard fitment, no modifications, great output and clarity.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I installed these in the front doors of a 2007 Corolla along with Kicker 43CSC674 in the rear deck and a Sony WX-920BT. WIthout any external amplification, these sound nice and have plenty of volume. I also ordered the adapters and XTC speaker baffles (with the intent of cutting out the rear of the baffles), but did not end up using the XTC baffles. Oddly, I seemed to lose a tiny bit of bass response over the factory door speakers when I first installed them, but they have improved after using them a bit. The sound quality is worlds better than the factory speakers and these were well worth the upgrade.

Pros: Good sound quality.

Cons:

Ol mans ride

Easy install on my 17 Tacoma. Overall improved sound over stock speakers and a fuller sound with less volume needed. Match with a pair of 6x9's for the front and you'll be happy at this price point. The installation accessories that Crutchfield includes free made putting them in easy as could be. Just remove stick and replace with these. No cutting, splicing or force fitting. Very happy! Thanks.

Pros: Price Installation ease. Free included installation accessories Sound improvement vs dollars spent = 100% win!

Cons: Could really use an amp to wake them up even more!

Cheap and good quality, what more can you ask for? Threw 4 of these in a Ford Fusion with the jbl club 704 and while I was installing it, I wasn't sure if my neighbors hated me, but when I left for work the next morning at 430 any doubts were gone.

Pros: Cheap and sound good

Cons: I know I said they were cheap, but if I had to complain about something they're made in China, personally I'd rather pay more and buy American...

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I'm a professional musician and producer, and need to have decent sounding equipment in my car. I DON'T have a 'super system' in my car because I want to hear what people who are NOT audiophiles hear. I replaced a pair of Pioneer speakers that were thirteen years old, got LOTS of use, and had served my quite well. I also didn't wanted speakers that 'colored' the sound. I use a minimal amount of EQ in the car because 'most' people have simply bass mids and treble, or don't even know how to use EQ, and my mixes have to sound great there too. These speakers sound great, and I'm very please. They have plenty of good sounding low end, which some with polypropylene woofer cones don't, and their mids are also in a pleasant range, not harsh like some. I don't think you could do better in their price range. With experienced help from 'Buzz' at Crutchfield I got exactly what I was looking for. THAT is very RARE today!

Pros: Great sound at a moderate price!

Cons: No cons.

2018 Honda Accord Sport
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After deciding against a sub-woofer, I ended up getting 2 pairs of these in an attempt to get better sound in my car (2018 Honda Accord Sport). These definitely improved the sound, while using the factory head unit. The sound is fuller and it definitely is louder at lower levels than the factory speakers. Much improved mids, and a slight gain on the low end. With these installed I have 8 tweeters (4 stock, 4 on these) so, the high end is very crisp and clear. i decided to try and install these myself with the free guide. The screws that came with the speakers were too long for the provided free bracket, so i had to cut them shorter. Other than that, everything is good.

Pros: Upgrade from factory speakers Easy Install Free Installation gear

Cons: had to cut screws to fit bracket

These speakers really sound great. I spoke with an expert at Crutchfield and after some info I have him, he suggested these Kicker speakers. Even my wife, who thinks everything sounds the same, said she noticed a big difference. Best part was the instructions provided were very easy to follow so that you can install yourself. 2011 Honda Accord
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought a set of 4 for my 2011 Honda Accord to hopefully improve the mids and highs. Fortunately, it gave me those airy high notes and crispness that I was lacking in the factory system all thanks to the tweeter. The mids aren't bad, but they are good for the price range. Sound output was lower at the same volume level as the factory speakers which I thought was interesting (This is with the head unit amplifier). This can easily be resolved by simply turning up the volume. The speaker housing is metal and noticeably secure. They have a cool look about them even though they will be hidden away majority of the time. It hits a lower frequencies pretty well. Nothing spectacular though. However, no substitute for a an oval speaker or subwoofer. I have a subwoofer, so I prefer to utilize the speaker's highs and mids to provide a balanced sound in tandem with the subwoofer. Overall solid results for a reasonable price.

Pros: Rugged build quality Capable tweeter Can handle high volumes Good aesthetic appeal Good sound quality

I recently put these speakers in my 2014 Ford Fusion and they sound amazing! First, the directions that you get from CrutchField are very good and very detailed and help you take everything out so that you can put the new speaker in. I bought two pairs for my fusion (front and back) and everything was plug and play. With my purchase, I was given mounting brackets and plug and play adapters and made for an amazingly easy install. I do recommend that you do mount the speaker to the bracket before screw the bracket into your car. I did this before I took the door panels off so that it made the install even easier. I am so happy with the speakers, they sound so much better than the stock speaker. They provide a lot of bass for the size while not compromising the high end. Overall, they are great speakers for the money.

I purchased these thinking they would be a noticeable upgrade from the factory speakers that came with my car, which as far as I can tell, there is no discernible difference. Another annoying issue I found was I was required to buy additional mount pieces that were required for my vehicle that did not really fit. I had to make my own adjustments to make it work. When I looked at the manual, I saw a list of many cars, not one of them listed my car-2018 Camry, so not sure I understand why it was suggested for my car with it wasn't even on the list of vehicles. I have purchased here before for home entertainment, and plan to do so in the future, but really have to express my dissatisfaction with my latest purchase

Always a fan of Kicker speakers, specifically the CS series. Well-made and found on sale with Crutchfield here which adds the sweetener of mounting/connection accessories free! Much better sound...now time to get the junk stereo replacement done and I'll be jamming out to my favorite tunes with some punch. '12 Murano fit with mount adapters fairly well. Supplied hardware with the speakers don't work with the mounting adapters, but I had some compatible hardware handy. I'd suggest a bag of proper screws with the adapters. You'll see the factory paper excuses of a speaker in photos. I replaced some Shaker 500 speakers with component CS series and they REALLY sound off, too.

These are a substantial improvement in sound quality over the factory ones. They would probably sound even better with an independent amp, but if you don't want to go through all that trouble, these are a worthwhile upgrade with a factory head unit. I'm using 4 of these in a 2011 Sonata base model. **side note** The mastersheet instructions are basically useless. I had to figure some things out on my own and get creative. You're better off finding some videos on YouTube. I thought the door panel pry tools were too expensive. I loved not having to cut and splice wires.

This product is AMAZING!!! You will not be disappointed. They sound a million times better than my old factory speakers. They have been in for about a week and I am still getting used to how clear and amazing they sound. They took about 30 minutes to install, they came with the wire adapters and speaker mounts. Worth every penny!!! That's why I only order from Crutchfield!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Sound great , currently running one in each door with two factory tweeters and a pioneer 50wx4 headunit. I can crank it all the way up and experience no distortion. They sound good and sometimes I think there is too much bass but you can always turn the bass down if its not your thing. The plastic brackets they give you fit perfect. I had to trim the plastic nubs off inside and drill new holes to get the speaker to fit but its only cause I wanted 6 3/4 vs 6 1/2. I'm happy with the product and the new speakers trump the stock ones that didnt even work anymore. Crutchfield member also talked with me on the phone and laid out all the install instructions and problems I could potentially run into. He also helped me trouble shoot my headunit that I didn't buy it from Crutchfield. This company is great. Great product. Thanks again

Pros: Sound good , reasonable price with install equipment included.

Cons: Had to mod the bracket!

My old speakers were junk and I needed an upgrade. These Kickers were just the thing for someone who didn't want to upgrade his stock Head Unit. Loud enough to handle the bass, and clear enough to get those highs to come through nicely. A well balanced product!

Pros: Can be powered off of a stock HU. Good bass comes through, clear highs. Gates are included.

Cons: Haven't found one as of yet... doesn't mean they aren't out there but, this is really just a solid product!!

Excellent choice to replace rear speakers in my 2017 tacoma. The stock speakers are incredibly cheap and it's shocking that they sounded even half as good as these. The kickers make the sound much cleaner with improved bass and zero distortion. Highly recommend these along with the 6x9 version for the front doors of a Tacoma.

Pros: Low cost, high quality.

Cons:

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Got a pair of these to replace the front door speakers on my 2004 CTS with a Bose sound system. Immediately heard the difference after installing them. Comparing them to the rear (which are still 100%), the mids and highs are way better. Doesn't hit the lows very well though, but I have a 10'' sub in a ported box to make up for that. The kicker speakers are amplified by the stock bose amp and it sounds crystal clear when turned up. These are a great budget upgrade for stock speakers whether they are giving out or still new, but wanting better clarity.

Pros: Great price for performance, Looks nice, Clear mids, crisp highs

Cons: Bass is not very loud in these speakers, get these only if you have or are planning to install subwoofers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers will greatly exceed your expectations! Not only are they affordable (about $50 a pair) they really are good quality speakers that will vastly improve your factory radio without an amplifier. My biggest reason of selecting these speakers is that I wanted something with good bass for the size and that was my only wishlist for speaker selection. Not only can these give your car quite a good amount of bass, they also have really nice clarity throughout all frequencies. I was most surprised by this but have really enjoyed being able to hear parts of songs that I did not recognize before. If you're still doubting about this purchase, trust me, these are great quality speakers at a good price for you! I love mine and so will you!

Pros: So much bass for speaker of this size Great speaker for the price Surprising amount of clarity in the middle-highs

Amazing Sound when Paired with Kickers in the Rear

2003 Toyota Highlander
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

My new Kicker 6-3/4" 2-way car speakers (43CSC674) sound amazing and have really woken up my entire system which I have slowly but surely been trying to update. I began a few years ago by replacing the stock door speakers with some Sony 6-1/1" which made the factory radio sound better. Next, I replaced the radio with Pioneer's FH-X721BT CD receiver. That really made a difference and I was mostly happy until about six months ago when I started to hear distorion from the rear speakers. Sure enough, Toyota's paper cone speakers had seen better days. So I replaced the factory speaker with Kicker 6x9" 3-way car speakers (43CSC6934). My system was back to sounding better. Unfortunately, the old Sony door speakers seemed to be lost and were being overpowered by the Kickers in the rear. It was impossible to have any front staging. When I faded the speakers to the front, the overall sound volume in the car was really low and sounded thin. Even when I set the fade to center, I could barely hear the front Sony speakers. All the sound seemed to be coming from the Kickers in the rear. So, last weekend I took out the Sonys and replaced them with the Kicker 6-3/4" 2-way car speakers. I couldn't be more happy as my modest little car system finally sounds great! I am fading the speakers to the front by +5 which results in nice, rich, full sound. The highs are emanating from in front of me, and are nicely balanced and filled in by the rear Kickers.

This is not the ideal speaker for a 2016 Honda Accord with the "premium" system. When I installed these in the rear deck, the treble did sound better, but they seemed to have no bass at all. In fact, it sounded so bad compared to the factory speakers that I took them out and sent them back. If you use them for something else, they may sound much better.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I didn't want to judge these speakers till I'd finished installing all the components I had planned for this year, which sadly took me longer than my return policy was good for. I completely regret buying these speakers. I installed them in mid june and immediately wasn't happy with them. The sound quality was poor and bass was entirely absent. I hadn't yet upgraded my stereo or wiring yet so I figured I'd hold off until after and still have faith in the product. Now that I've got everything setup I absolutely despise these speakers. They have no bass whatsoever, heavy distortion if i turn my volume up past 60%, and have a terrible crackling sound in the background. I'm strongly considering just switching back to my stock speakers until I can afford a new pair. I can't even bring myself to list these for sale they sound so terrible.

Pros: If I blow them I probably won't even notice because they sound so terrible.

Great speakers for the price. I put mine in a 2017 Honda Civic LX. At low volume they have comparable sound to the factory speakers. When you raise the volume is when you really see the difference. The LX factory head unit is not a powerful head unit but it could still over drive the factory speakers causing distortion. These speakers give me much better sound at high volume and with a 100W RMS rating should sound even better with a stronger deck or an additional amp.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

2015 Sonata SE, Great replacement speakers, more Mids and Highs, but a loss in Low, due to not amplified. Not a bad choice if you have an amp sub to compensate. My next project! Like I said, I'm happy with the purchase and easy install.

Pros: Clean sound!

Cons:

Great Speakers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Got these for my 2005 Colorado extended cab. Replaced all four speakers and these sound fantastic!! Installation was very easy, just had to drill four screw holes for each speaker. I removed the foam gaskets from the old speakers and glued onto the new ones to eliminate metal to metal contact. I especially liked the GM wiring harnesses that came with them, made them 'plug and play'. Can't get no easier than that !!

Pros: Easy install Good buy

Great improvement over factory system in 2012 Scion xD

2012 Scion xD
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

My wife's 2012 Scion xD had an entirely factory stereo system (head unit and speakers). Volume, bass, and overall sound was lacking. I didn't want to spend so much to replace the entire setup but instead asked Crutchfield support to help me determine the best first step. Replace factory head unit? Replace factory speakers? Add amp? Their recommendation was to replace the speakers if I was going to only do one thing. For the price range of I gave them they recommended two sets of these Kicker 43CSC674. Just to make sure they were good for me I actually chatted with multiple representatives on different days and these were always one of the recommended sets. They were not just drop-in so it took an extra half hour of staring at the additional mounting brackets, the bracket instructions, the Crutchfield instructions, and the speaker instructions. Crutchfield instructions were good, others were poor. Once I figured it out it was easy. Since it was not my car I was not too familiar with how the system sounded before these speakers but my wife is extremely happy with these as an upgrade. Huge improvement for her bass, musical theater, and audio book needs. This was a great first step and likely may be our only step since she is satisfied. Personally if it were my system I would add an amp to be able to play louder and with more bass. Satisfied.

Pros: Sound is much better than factory speakers.

Cons: Installation instructions from Kicker were confusing. Could use more bass.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed in a 2012 Kia Optima with infinity sound... bought these to replace my front door speakers due to the fact one blew. After a week with these I wish I would have replaced with factory speakers. The vocals on the kicker are much clearer and you can hear more of the music notes however these do not even come close to the bass output of stock. And that's the only downfall I have with these

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers are awesome on my car and are pretty loud and clear. I had to tune the bass out of it on my amp to make it sound very clear but if you do not have an amp connected to it, it still packs a punch. It was a low price for very good speakers.

Pros: Better material, Nice design, loud and clear, easily adjustable, Pretty big magnet

Cons:

2013 Honda Accord
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these speakers to replace my factory front door speakers on my 2013 Honda Accord exl-v6. For a top of the line Accord, the factory sound is not great. The update was a big improvement with the sound being much chrisper and clean. The bass was much better compared to factory. The upgrade with the Crutchfield adapters took no more than 1/2 an hour. I will definitely be upgrading the rear speakers now that I heard the quality of the kicker's.

Pros: Easy to install with crutchfield adapters and instructions.

Cons: None

2011 Kia Optima
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I used these Kickers to replace factory front door speakers in a 2011 Kia Optima. Still using stock head unit. These Kickers sound great... Huge improvement over stock. You'll notice that the overall sound is much more clear and clean. The sound is much brighter as well so you'll want to tweak the EQ a bit. I turned the treble down a notch or two and the bass up slightly and they really sound nice. I listen to mostly classic rock and heavier and like a clean tight bass which these deliver once you crank them up a little. I'm sure adding an aftermarket amp and sub will make these sound their best... next paycheck. Also, did not use the mounting adapter rings... I just drilled new screw holes in the factory location. Wiring harness was perfect though.

Pros: Easy install, sound great, huge upgrade over stock

Cons: Made in China

Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker CSC-series speakers feature polypropylene woofer cones, resistant to moisture and the temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Surrounds: The ribbed polyester foam surrounds allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL.

Balanced-Dome Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1/2" PEI (polyetherimide) balanced-dome tweeter. A balanced dome tweeter has a dome placed inside a cone, with equal reproduction area given the cone and dome sections.

A pair of speakers (2). [ James  Aug 22, 2018 ]
price is per pair [ Christopher  Aug 22, 2018 ]
It will improve sound quality by delivering more power to speakers which improves clarity at lower volume allowing one to crank it if wanted. I am running this amp to power 6x9 component speakers in front and 6.5 in rear... while it doesn't thump as some of my trucks in the past with $1000+ steario sub and amps it does sound very good for being all stock replacement stuff... this little amp is worth it bought and installed a second one in wife's car [ joshua  Jul 31, 2018 ]
I was disappointed at the performance of my Kicker speakers that I installed in my car until I added an amplifier. The speakers really showed their potential then. [ Christopher  Aug 22, 2018 ]
Typically speakers sound a whole lot better when driven by a dedicated amplifier. I imagine at high volume, your head unit is causing a lot of distortion. [ James  May 04, 2018 ]
Since you're not using a subwoofer in your system, I'd suggest leaving the HPF set to "off" so you don't limit the bass from your Kicker speakers. For more details or to discuss further please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat. Thanks! [ Larry  Apr 30, 2018 ]  Staff
Sorry, that job was only using an alpine head unit to power the kicker speakers so we did not need any type of crossover [ CHARLES R  Apr 24, 2018 ]
