Kicker technology at work

Kicker's 44CVX122 12" subwoofer features a flex-resistant polypropylene cone with Kicker's SoloKon™ reinforcement for hard-hitting lows without distortion, while the ribbed Santoprene rubber surround promotes long excursion and helps to keep the cone on target. The sub's cast aluminum basket provides a reliable foundation for big bass, and its extensive venting ensures long-lasting performance that won't break down when the bass gets heavy.

Versatile installation

This sub handles up to 750 watts RMS to bring out the punch your music's been missing, and its dual 4-ohm voice coils make it easy to get more power from your mono amplifier. This versatile sub works well in sealed or ported enclosures.

Q
What amp do I need to run 2 of the 12inch kicker comp vx?
[ Patrick  Aug 31, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
Two of these Kicker 44CVX124 CompVX subs would absolutely bang Patrick! These are the Dual 4 ohm coil version, so for a pair you'll need an amp that can handle a 1 ohm load. Check out these three fantastic options in the links below, the Memphis VIV1500.1V2, the Memphis Audio PRXA1500.1, and the MTX JackHammer JH15001. These three get right around 1500 watts RMS (the Jackhammer a tid bit more) and are 1 ohm stable, and I feel all are great bang for the buck. Either of these three options would drive the Kickers to their full potential, basshead levels of boom! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_953VIV151V/Memphis-Audio-VIV1500-1V2.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_953PRXA151/Memphis-Audio-PRXA1500-1.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_236JH15001/MTX-JackHammer-JH15001.html

Q
can i put these in a pre fabricated comp c box????!!!!
[ JEREMY  Aug 03, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
Depending on the box you might have issues with depth, Jeremy. The Kicker 44CWCD124 12" has a depth of 5-3/8". This Kicker 44CVX124 12" is a little deeper at 6-11/16". If there is extra depth in your pre-fab box then you're golden. These upgraded 44CVX124 12" will sound great in the same air space as the Comp C, and can handle more power.

Q
Need help find an amp or amps if needed? for the Kicker 44CVX124CompVX Series 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils
[ Brody  Jul 03, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
This sub handles up to 750 watts rms at 2 ohms when wired in parallel. The Memphis Audio SRX750D.1 is a perfect match to power 1 of the Kicker 44CVX124 subs. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_953SRX750D/Memphis-Audio-SRX750D-1.html?tp=35834 This amp has speaker level and preamp inputs to work with an aftermarket or stock radio. The amp will need 4 gauge wiring. If you need help finding the required parts to make this work, give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 and we'll be happy to help!

Q
What 5 channel amp will power 2 Kicker 44CVX124?
[ JONATHAN  May 05, 2021 ]
1 answer
A
Thanks for your question. For information on selecting the best amp I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences between the amp models and help you make the best choice for your system.

Q
Does a kicker 500.1 have enough power for a single 12 inch kicker CVC?
[ Alex  Nov 17, 2020 ]
3 answers
A
Yes my amp was too powerful for it
[ KEVIN  Nov 17, 2020 ]
A
Yes it does but it may clip due to not enough power at RMS. You're better off getting a 1000 watt amp
[ Michael  Nov 17, 2020 ]
A
The Kicker 500.1 is right in the RMS range for the CVX, but I personally like to over power my subs. I think you're going to enjoy it on the 500.1, its a great preforming sub.
