Hard-hitting CompC sub

The 10" CompC sub features a flex-resistant polypropylene cone for hard-hitting lows without distortion, with a ribbed foam surround that promotes long excursion and helps to keep the cone on target. A heavy-duty steel basket provides a reliable foundation for big bass, and extensive venting ensures long-lasting performance that won't break down when the bass gets heavy.

Heavy-duty enclosure

Sturdy medium-density fiberboard ensures long-lasting performance from the enclosure, and the special-design side port enhances bass production without getting sloppy. The enclosure's 2-ohm impedance draws maximum power from your mono amplifier.

Q
would this sub pair good with a Kicker 43CXA3004 300 watt amp? And this may be a stupid question but would a 300 watt amp "drain" the battery down?
matthew  Nov 12, 2023
1 answer
A
The Kicker 43CXA300.4 is a 4-channel amplifier and would not be ideal for use with the 44TCWC102. For help with selecting the sub/amp combination, please reach out to our advisors via online chat or phone at 1-800-324-9695. They can also address concerns regarding power for the amplifier.

Q
Will this fit behind the Seat of my 1987 Ford ranger standard cab?
connor  Apr 09, 2023
1 answer
A
Hi Connor, thanks for your question. We don't have any measurements for the area behind the seat in your truck, so you'll need to take some measurements, after doing so, I recommend giving one of our Advisors a call at 1.800.324.9695 they'll be happy to assist you.

Q
Does this come with a Bass Control Knob?
scott anthony  Dec 21, 2022
1 answer
A
Greetings Anthony, and thank you for your question. The Kicker 44TCWC102 is a passive subwoofer. Only subwoofers with a built in amplifier could have a wired remote bass knob included.

Q
Will this fit behind the seat of a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado single cab truck?
sessy406  Nov 22, 2022
1 answer
A
We do not have the exact dimensions of the area on the lower back wall in your particular Silverado but there is very little usable space so given the 7.5" depth of that subwoofer, it is unlikely that Kicker enclosure would work. We would suggest you take some measurements ahead of time to check before placing an order to confirm first.

Q
Will this sobwoofer box fit under my 2006 chevy Silverado back seat ?
charles  Oct 30, 2022
1 answer
A
Unfortunately we don't have the measurements of the available space you have for underneath your rear seat so we can't confirm if this Kicker enclosure could fit.

Q
Could I ultimately use two of these in place of a full sub box to save money?
daddy  Jan 20, 2022
2 answers
A
I don't see why not?! If you have the room for two then I would say that there wouldn't be much of any difference between two singles vs one double box
daniel n  Jan 23, 2022
A
This is a real deal subwoofer. 2 of them would be great. Just make sure you match the load to your amp.
adam  Jan 21, 2022
Q
Will this fit behind my rear back seat of my 2012 double cab Toyota Tacoma?
lawaia  Oct 27, 2021
1 answer
A
We do not expect this will fit because it is roughly 1-5/8" deeper than the space we found when we measured it. The box needs to be no greater than 6" deep at the bottom. We have advisors that can be reached by calling 1-800-324-9695 who can give you a personal recommendation

Q
What's the best amp to go with 2 of these subwoofers?
jose e  Oct 12, 2021
1 answer
A
Thanks for your question. For information on selecting the best amp for your subs I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to help determine the differences between the amp models and help you make the best choice for your system.

Q
would my GM-DX874 Pioneer 4 channel class D 1200W amp work for two of these?
justin  Oct 02, 2021
1 answer
A
There are a few factors to consider. This is a 2 ohm speaker. So it depends on the impedance of your amplifier. Another factor is that this speaker can only handle about 300 watts rms. You WILL blow this speaker if you try to push it even to its listed max of 600 peak watts. Also, most 4 channel amps are made to power voice, mods and highs and not necessarily base unless you run a channel to a pair of subs. I used to run a 4 channel to my 6x9s and 6 1/2" speakers and a mono block sub amp to a much stronger sub setup. Now I have a 5 channel Fosgate amp and run the 6x9s and 6 1/2" on the voice channels and a single 12" kicker on the sub channel. Sound is amazing. Im not pushing out windows, but sound is crisp and even.

You could measure your available space and then check the measurements of this box and see if it will fit.

I have a F150 Supercab and there is not room behind the rear seat. As it angles down on one side, I put mine under the rear seats. It fits well on the ground. I hope that helps. I can send measurements of mine if you want them.

Q
So I got a kicker cxa300.1 what would be the difference on a this kicker sub 2ohm vs 4ohm would one sound louder?
christian  Feb 02, 2019
3 answers
A
As long you match the correct amp to the sub whether it be 2ohm and 4ohm. Example 2ohm sun should have a 2ohm amp. Then your sound will be clean.
roger  Feb 02, 2019
A
The 2ohm would have a louder bass but a poorer sound quality because of the power used to create the bass. The 4ohm has better sound quality and a bass that still hits hard. I would recommend the 4ohm. You can also adjust the power using the gain knob on your sub amp. Enjoy!
daniel  Feb 02, 2019
A
The 4ohm subwoofer produces a softer sound as compared to the 2ohm subwoofer that produces louder sound having the same wattage. ... The other reason as to why most people consider buying the 4ohm subwoofer is that it has higher electrical resistance while the 2ohm subwoofer has a lower electrical resistance an answer to this question.

I'm running a Kicker CX300.1 amp which is the older version of the new Kicker 43CXA300.1. Both produce 300 watts rms which is exactly what the sub it. Mine sounds great
