About the Kicker Q-Class 41TL7102
Kicker optimized the 41TL7102 enclosure for their legendary square L7 Series 10" subwoofer. This bass behemoth handles up to 750 watts RMS without breaking a sweat, and the innovative square cone moves much more air than a conventional 10" round cone. Power this enclosure with a nice amp, and you will experience world-shaking bass.
The woofer's forged aluminum frame and Santoprene™ rubber surround handle high-level playback, while keeping the cone on track. The injection-molded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features 360-degree, constant-contact back bracing for strength and responsiveness. And the UniPlate™ back plate and pole piece are made as a single, solid unit to allow heat to escape the motor. Translation? Kicker designed this sub to take some serious punishment.
Kicker covers the solid MDF enclosure with black carpeting, along with an embroidered Kicker logo. Heavy internal bracing gives you a solid base for the subwoofers, while rounded corners help the enclosure to fit in tighter spaces. The specially engineered port increases bass response, and the enclosure's 2-ohm impedance allows you to draw maximum power from your amplifier. Strong, innovative, and powerful, Kicker made the 41TL7102 enclosure to deliver no-holds-barred bass.

Overview: The Kicker TL7102 is a passive subwoofer system featuring a heavy-duty 10" L7 driver in a compact ported enclosure. Designed for maximum bass and power handling while maintaining excellent sound quality, the 2 ohm subwoofer can handle 750 watts RMS/1500 watts peak power.
Enclosure: The TL7102 features a heavy duty MDF ported enclosure with felt cloth covering on the top, bottom, and rear panels. Connection to the sub is done with two recessed spring-post terminals, providing a positive electrical connection. The TL7102 includes mounting hardware for attaching the enclosure to a floorboard for a more stable installation.
L7 Driver: The Kicker sub enclosure is loaded with a single 10" L7 dual voice-coil subwoofer, internally parallel-wired for a 2Ω load at the single set of output terminals. The L7 driver utilizes Kicker's unique square design, which gives it over 20% more surface area than a round speaker of the same diameter, allowing more air to be moved and increasing volume. The subwoofer's construction features a polypropylene cone with a Santoprene surround, both stitched for maximum bonding strength. The motor assembly consists of oversized magnets along with finned heat sinks around the voice-coil, all providing greater heat dissipation for increased longevity.
