Power this enclosure with a nice amp, and you will experience world-shaking bass.

Innovative woofer

The woofer's forged aluminum frame and Santoprene™ rubber surround handle high-level playback, while keeping the cone on track. The injection-molded SoloKon™ polypropylene cone features 360-degree, constant-contact back bracing for strength and responsiveness. And the UniPlate™ back plate and pole piece are made as a single, solid unit to allow heat to escape the motor. Translation? Kicker designed this sub to take some serious punishment.

Tough enclosure

Kicker covers the solid MDF enclosure with black carpeting, along with an embroidered Kicker logo. Heavy internal bracing gives you a solid base for the subwoofer. Rounded corners help the enclosure to fit in tighter spaces. The specially engineered port increases bass response, and the enclosure's 2-ohm impedance allows you to draw maximum power from your amplifier. Strong, innovative, and powerful, Kicker made the 44TL7S102 enclosure to deliver no-holds-barred bass.

Put in the cargo area of 2019 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, sounds amazing. Hits extremely low in the prefab box specifically made for the sub by Kicker. Could not be more pleased. Running on a Kicker 500/1 mono amp and only turned about 3/8 of the way up.

Pros: Hits very low and hard.

Cons: None

For the small size of this box and sub, it hits pretty hard. It sounds every bit as good as a regular 12 inch sub.

Pros: Compact size, great bass.

Awesome Sub... Pull it out of its enclosure and verify wiring configur

The 10" kicker solo-baric mated with a 1000W kenwood monoblock amp moves a ton of air with clean base. Note to buyers: When you receive your Kicker pre loaded sub, open it up and verify the wiring configuration of the dual voice coil and ensure it is appropriately wired for your application. I received two and each were wired differently. One Kicker sub was wire in parallel while the other had the coils wired in series.

Pros: Well constructed enclosure With amazing base!

Cons: Double check how the sub is wired in the enclosure before connecting it to your amp.

Great product. Needed something that would fit in a small space. This speaker was perfect, not to much bass but enough to annoy the neighbor.

Pros: Its a kicker. The box is very well made. Deep bass in a small box.

Cons: Wish i had space for 2

Pros: Fits behind 3rd Row of my 2013 Toyota Highlander perfectly. Huge Base. Adjustable knob.

I've own quite a few different subwoofers in my time, but by far kicker sets themselves apart from the others.. sound quality along with durability and look just amazing. The one 10 solo baric hit harder and sound better than the two kicker 10 comp 10s I had in my Honda civic. I won't buy or use anything else other than kicker!!

Pros: Excellent sound quality. A lot of bass with out taking up A lot of space. Definitely worth the money.

Cons: None..

I was skeptic about using a single 10 inch sub because I like a lot of bass but was limited on space so I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. This sub puts out excellent sound and lots of clean low bass. Fits great behind the rear seat of my 2 door Jeep Wrangler. I was running a single Kicker comp 12 inch sub in a sealed box and this 10 inch solo baric in the factory ported box sounds way better. This is possibly the cleanest sounding sub I have owned and produces good bass at low volume. I am pushing the sub with a Kicker 600 watt amp at 2 ohm. The amp is only about half gain with the bass completely off and sounds great. Exactly the sound I wanted. Got a great price from Crutchfield and excellent shipping time and service. Thanks Crutchfield!

Pros: small size, excellent clean sound, nice box, lots of bass

Cons: Price

Big bass in a small heavy duty box

Jonathan from Boston, MA on 8/29/2017

I was surprise of the amount of bass the box produced. It reminds me of when I was running two 12" kick comps in a ported box with the same amp. I love the fact that I have room in my truck now without sacrificing bass. The sub is powered by a discontinued kicker 750x1 class-d amp. The bass controller is only level 3 with every bass option on the radio turned off.

Pros: Ported Solid box Nice carpet and logo Small Big Bass

Cons: Heavy

Features

Wire Terminal: The subwoofer's dual 4Ω voice coils are internally wired in parallel to present a 2Ω load at the single pair of spring post wire terminals. The terminals are mounted on the left side of the enclosure and will accept pin connectors, single or dual banana plugs, or bare wire up to 10 gauge.

Square Design: By making the Solo-Baric square, Kicker is giving you the most possible cone area (Sd) for a given size baffle, 16% to 20% more area than a conventional round subwoofer. More cone area means the Solo-Baric L7 moves more air, resulting in louder, deeper bass.

Cone Material: The square SoloKon design is a unique one-piece construction, using injection molded polypropylene that moves as a lightweight piston, for improved control. The cone remains rigid, minimizing cone flex and distortion. A rear cone brace integrates into the cone with a continuous contact perimeter weld, which improves strength and resistance to deformation under pressure.

Surround: The tough, flexible Santoprene rubber surround has a long-throw, positive-roll design, which controls extreme cone excursion and is highly tear-resistant. The corners of the surround are ribbed to ensure linear cone motion. The surround is stitched to the reinforced cone edge, making separation between them virtually impossible, even in the harshest conditions.

Subsonic Filter: Kicker recommends using a 24dB/octave subsonic filter at 25 Hz.

Q
Will it fit in a 99 single cab ford ranger?
[ Roy  Jul 12, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
We do not have the available space dimensions behind the seat in your Ranger. It can vary based on where you have the seat positioned. You can use the enclosure's dimensions to see if it will fit the available space you find in the desired mounting location: 21-1/2"W x 15"H x 10"D1 x 6-1/2"D2

Q
is it for marine use also?
[ russross  Jun 14, 2018 ]
2 answers
A
Even though it's high quality I don't think it is rated for marine use from the manufacturer. Maybe in a dry area on a house boat would be ok. I love the sub but I would have to recommend one rated for marine use for your boat. I'm sure you would like the sub but can't say how good it would hold up in a wet environment. Hope this helps you.
[ John  Jun 16, 2018 ]
A
As long as you keep it dry it could be used for that. But it wasn't intended for that kind of use.
[ Jeff  Jun 14, 2018 ]
Q
Amplifier recommendations??
[ Nick86  Nov 20, 2017 ]

A
A good 500w rms @ 2ohm sub amp will do the job
