A match made in heaven...or Oklahoma
Kicker's 43TCWRT82 loaded enclosure puts a thumping 8" CompRT subwoofer and a second passive sub behind the seat of a truck or in any vehicle that's low on space. The rugged sealed box was designed specifically for the subwoofer, so you can count on getting maximum performance, no matter what kind of tunes you enjoy. The second sub (called a "passive radiator") reacts to the air pressure produced by the active sub, creating lots more bass without any port noise.
Big bass from a CompRT sub
The 8" CompRT sub features a rigid injection-molded polypropylene cone that won't flex and cause distortion while you're cranking the bass. Its rubber surround will last through years of heavy use, combining with a special-design back and top plate to give you more excursion (which equals more bass) than other skinny subs.
Sturdy medium-density fiberboard ensures long-lasting performance from the enclosure, and its sealed design keeps the bass punchy and accurate, without getting sloppy. The enclosure's 2-ohm impedance draws maximum power from your mono amplifier.

Kicker CompRT 43TCWRT82 reviews
This is a replacement for an Bose factory system sub. The size was perfect for the hatchback location. As for the sound, I can't say enough for the quality and punch that it gives to the bass. The sound is clean and full and with a solid RockfordFosgate amp (previsously recommended by a Crutchfield rep) it does not disappoint. This was probably the best purchase for adding inexpensive but impressive sound. The speaker is running on a 300W 2-ohm setup. Installation was a breeze and the sub fits perfectly along the side of the hatch area. The only "negative" is that the speaker enclosure does not come with the grilles to protect the sub and passive speaker. I will have to purchase these to keep from damaging them. Seems that should be provided :)
Pros: Solid bass, easy installation, excellent sound combined with system.
Cons: Speaker protective grilles not provided.

This sub sounds great and it hits! the passive sub hits as hard as the powered one! I have it on a JBL stadium 5 which sounds amazing. Put it behind the seat on a 93 Toyota pickup still have leg room. I ordered some grilles on amazon because it doesn't come with them! $20 a pop for the grilles. So keep that in mind if a naked sub is not what your looking for. Other then that I love this sub!
Pros: Sound, hit, clear
Cons: Doest come with grilles

Perfect fit for the back of my 75' Corvette. Perfect combination with my GT104 amp. Deep rich sound!!
Pros: Size, sound, price
Cons: Wish the speakers were covered since it's going in the back storage area of my Vette

Speaker Terminals: The spring post terminals (one pair) are mounted on the left side of the enclosure and will accept pin connectors, single or dual banana plugs (3/4" width), or bare wire up to 8 gauge.
Woofers: The Kicker 43TCWRT82 enclosure uses one 8" CompRT series subwoofer and one 8" passive radiator.
Break-in Period: Due to the complex nature of Kicker CompRT speakers, they require a break-in period in order to produce optimum low-bass response. The suspension system is very stiff out-of-the-box. Approximately two weeks of daily playing will allow the suspension to break-in and reach its optimum equilibrium. Once broken-in, the subwoofer will exhibit stronger bass performance, smoother response, and greater low-bass extension.
