Add a special tweeter

Just the style of Morel's iconic Lotus-design speaker grilles takes your breath away, and then there's the sound... The Elate Carbon Pro 52A 2-way component system includes a 5-1/4" woofer and the Elate Alto 1.1" tweeter, not included with the "non-Pro" Elate Carbon systems. The woofer uses a carbon-fiber/Rohacell cone that minimizes distortion for the most accurate sound possible. And for the Elate Alto tweeter, Morel draws on cavity-back technology developed for their flagship Supremo Piccolo tweeter for astounding highs.

Elate Carbon tweeter

Morel enhances the performance of the silk dome tweeter with a coating of Acuflex™ compound, which helps damping for a natural sound. By cancelling break-up that can happen at high-frequencies, this special tweeter soars with a frequency response that reaches up to 25,000 Hz. Additionally, Morel allows for a very low crossover point, which means this tweeter can achieve powerfully realistic performance and a highly accurate soundstage with even the most complex music.

Build an active system

Passive crossover systems are not included. Morel designed these Elate Carbon speakers to be neutral, without coloration, so that you can use your active crossover to craft exactly the right sound for you and your vehicle. You'll need an active crossover to use these speakers. If you would like to use passive crossovers with this system, optional Morel MXT280C crossovers are available
