Upgraded from alpine type s and these sound better for sure. Very pleased with morel and I am happy they made an affordable line of speakers that still sound great.

Pros: Small design makes them fit easy. They fit my stock locations in my 91 acura legend. Great sound and price

Cons: Didnt buy sooner

Put these in the front doors and they are a vast improvement over stock. They went in easily with the supplied wire harnesses and speaker mounts. It took minutes once the doors were off. The sound is crisp and clear with good mid bass. They aren't going to rattle your teeth, but that's not what they're made for. Super happy with these.

Morel Madness

I was not familiar with Morel when I bought these but the specs looked good & they were on sale so I decided to give them a try. I put these in the front doors on my Nissan Titan & Alpine 6 1/2s in my rear doors. Wow, these Morels truly outshine the Alpines. Not just in volume but the clarity is outrageous. My old ears are hearing new tones in songs I've listened to for years. Thanks Crutchfield! Your site is simply the best when it comes to research, comparison & price of car audio components.

Pros: Exact fit. Quality look & sound. Loud.

Cons: None

Possibly the best 6 x 9 speaker I have owned

Possibly the best 6 x 9 speaker I have owned. The sound is balanced across the entire spectrum. They need a little power to make them really shine. Installed in 2019 Subaru Impreza sedan with 65 watt per channel RF amp. Pleasant to listen to at moderate volume. The sound remains clean at increased levels. My ears give out at approx 40% volume level and music is still playing with no distortion. Plenty of bass for my needs. I have been enjoying mostly acoustic jazz, prog rock ,orchestral and an ecclectic collection for over 45 years. Source for this review is a digital music had drive. If you have a subwoofer these speakers will handle the midrange and highs. Tweeter is smooth. Not brassy or harsh. The sale price was worth the money.

Pros: clean an balanced smooth sound. Qualiity materials and engineering.

Cons: non

Great sounding speaker. Tested off the head unit and amplifier. While certainly better off the amplifier was still capable with just the head unit. These sound beautiful on the upper end and still have rich bass response. Great deal right now on these.

Looked at the reviews on these and they were good so i gave them a shot. Back in the day i used a boston alpine and jl audio a lot and these for the money are awesome smooth plenty of midbass with about the 50 to 80 watts im giving them. For the money well worth it

Pros: Great midbass and smooth highs

Cons: Mounting depth a little deep

Great speakers for the price. I got them on special and they were well worth it. They perform leaps and bounds better than the factory Ford speakers. The adapters and cables provided by Crutchfield fit perfect and the instructions were spot on. A true differentiator when purchasing car stereo equipment.

Pros: Ease of installation, great sound

Best speakers I ever have, natural sound, awesome quality for the pric

I am an audiophile, I had many cars with audio system installed but nothing sound more spectacular like this Morel Maximo speakers, for a long time I had a great interest in trying Morel products and I have no complains, this are an awesome brand from the guys of Iran, the quality is superb and beyond the normal. I has installed a Morel Maximo 6 1/2" component speakers in front a Morel Maximo 6x9s in the rear of my Nissan Sentra 2017 connected to a Pioneer GM-D8601 and Pioneer GM-D8604 amps to the factory radio using a Clarion EQS-755 preamp, and a Kicker 43CWR122 subwoofer, the sound is out of this world, very clean and natural sound without distortion. I only use this Morel as vocals, all the lows frequencies comes from the subwoofer. LOVE these speakers.

Pros: Well made, natural sound, clean crisp highs and good mid bass.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Just using head unit power. Good upgrade over stock junk speakers in terms of sound quality but I can't expect a revelation on low power. Bass response is better, but mid range is where it really shines to my ears. I inherited a pair of old 60's audiophile speakers at home, and have been listening to a lot of vinyl, so where I used to value really crisp clear highs that's not a sound I like anymore. I appreciate how warm these sound and no matter how much you crank the treble the tweeter still sounds rich without getting piercing. I might upgrade to the component set just because my speaker location is low and sometimes it sounds like all of the music is coming from below you. But again, without some sort of amp I can hardly complain. It still sounds like what a good factory system should sound like. And for the price, it's hard to beat.

Pros: Warm tone Good sound from low power

Cons:
