Hi, These Maximo Ultra 502 speakers have quite good sound quality with clear mids and pleasant highs. In my opinion, these are worth the money. If you're curious for a little more detail, here's my setup: Car: 2012 VW GTI, 2 Door Sound Damping: Closed cell foam and MLV lining doors and floor. Mid and Tweeter Position: Front Doors. No rear speakers. Mid and Tweeter Amp: Rockford Fosgate R400 Sub: Rockford Fosgate R1S410 sub in a custom sealed enclosure. Located in the spare wheel well. Sub Amp: Kenwood KAC-5001 The Morels were an upgrade from Pioneer TS-A 6.5" components speakers. The TS-A speakers honestly weren't an upgrade from the stock speakers and were easy to overpower with the Rockford amp. The goals with the Morel speakers were to find a speaker with good sound quality, clarity with volume increase, and a lack of harshness in the high frequencies. These goals were all met. These speakers sound clear at all volume levels which they've been played, with pleasant highs and nice mids. You won't get any bass out of these these, but that's to be expected, especially with a 5 1/4" speaker. Which brings me to the next point. My sub now needs upgrading because it feels so outgunned compared to these speakers. Basically, you get what you pay for, and a nice set of speakers paired with a $20 sub from craigslist sounds about as mismatched as expected. Overall, these were a good purchase and I'm happy with the sound of these s
Pros: - Crisp sound - Clear highs and mids - Highs are not harsh - Power handling is good. The speakers are don't lose clarity when volume is turned up. - Appear to be well built.
Cons: - Somewhat expensive
