Put these in a 69' Camaro in the OEM kickpanels. Searched for years for suitable kickpanels and/or speakers and nothing really met the OEM looks and retained the function of the OEM kickpanel vents (My car does not have air). I did not want to cut the doors for speakers. I found these Morel's by accident searching speakers online at Crutchfied. I used Metra 82-4300 1" spacers (98% perfect fit) and metal toilet rings (yes toilet mounting rings) behind the spacers to stabilize the speaker in the OEM plastic kick panel. I did sand the spacers on a little angle (1/4") to aim the woofer up as much as realistic. They sound at least 90%+ of my Boston 6" pro's which were in real door/kick panels in another vehicle. 60's cars don't have much room as these are about as good as it gets without custom kicks or cutting the door for real woofers. I did stuff lightly the A-pillar behind the woofer with some polyfil and taped off the openings into the dash area. They naturally vent up the A-pillar area. I mounted the remote tweeter right next to the woofer using the angled mount. I had to sand the mounting down to aim the tweeter across the car at the opposite center of door window. This offered the best imaging over aiming the tweeters at my ears or at each other. They are driven by the front channels of an old school Precision Power PC650 (50 RMS) with the 8" sealed kicker 40TCWRT84 mounted under the deck for my sub (200RMS). Ample power and sound for cruising!

Pros: Fitment and sound

Cons: Not as deep sounding as same 6.5" normal woofer

Super thin fit just about anywhere. Decent power handling. Heavy, well built, nice grills.

Pros: Slim profile fits in kick panels easily especially in my 19 Camry.

Cons: Not as sensitive as I would like, only 88 db.
