Brandmotion's FreedomCharge charging kits give you the ability to charge your phone wirelessly on the go. Brandmotion designed the FDMC-1274 wireless charger kit to fit right into the center console of your 2013-up Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, or Buick Enclave. Drill a few holes, connect a couple of wires, and you'll be able to charge your Qi-compatible smartphone without searching for that hard-to-find charging cable while you're driving.
How it works
Once you've installed the charger in your vehicle, simply place your smartphone on the non-skid charging mat, and you're good to go. The inductive charging system's LED shows that the phone is charging — once the battery is topped off, the charger will trickle power to the phone as needed. If you don't have a phone that's Qi-compatible, you can select one of Brandmotion's Qi adhesive coils or Qi-compatible phone sleeves, which work with this charger.
You'll have to do a little work
To get the charging system in place, you'll have to remove some panels, do a little drilling, and wire the charger into your vehicle's electrical wiring. Brandmotion created the explicit instructions and drilling template specifically for your GM vehicle.
You can use Posi-Tap connectors to tie the wires into your system, if you prefer not to cut and solder them. To save you some installation time, Brandmotion also offers a T-harness that works with vehicles that offer a 12-volt accessory or "keyed on" power outlet. The final result is a seamlessly integrated phone-charging system in your vehicle.
This charging system will require permanent modifications to your vehicle's console. These modifications aren't visible upon the completion of the installation.

Qi Wireless Charging Module: The included Qi wireless charging module works by using inductive charging technology to allow your Qi compatible smartphone to charge without any cables or connecting a charger. It will charge your phone's battery to 100% and then tapers off to avoid overcharging. An LED light lets you know when your phone is charging and when charging is complete.
Note: Do not place magnetic cards or magnetic recorded media too close to the wireless charging module as it may damage your card or erase your recorded media. Do not place metal objects near the Qi wireless charging module while it is charging your smartphone. Do not place smart keys within 6" of the charging module, as it may prevent vehicle from starting.
Smartphone Compatibility: The Brandmotion Qi Wireless Charging Kit can provide a charge to any smartphone with integrated Qi functionality, including the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S7, Google Nexus 6, LG G2, and the Google Nexus 7 tablet. Other phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple iPhones, can become Qi-enabled if you equip them with a Qi receiving accessory from Brandmotion (sold separately).
Mounting Bracket & Rubber Mat: The Qi wireless charging module's integrated bracket allows it to mount in your GM crossover vehicle's center console. The included rubber matt provides a soft, non-slip surface to your Qi compatible smartphone to charge.
Power Requirements: The Qi wireless charging module must be connected to your vehicle's 12-volt electrical system and requires switched power and ground. A 8' power & ground cable is included. The power wire has an in-line 2A fuse.
Optional T-Harness: The optional FDMC-1900 T-Harness (220FDM1900, sold separately) is a convenient and seamless solution for connecting the Brandmotion Qi Wireless Charging Kit to your vehicle's 12-volt power supply. The T-Harness allows the Brandmotion Qi Wireless Charging Kit to draw power from your vehicle's 12-volt power socket or cigarette adapter without having to splice wires.
