More details on the Code Alarm CAGBS
Overview: The Code Alarm Glass Breakage Sensor (CAGBS) should be installed in the passenger compartment of a vehicle to "listen" for the high-pitched sound of glass breaking in order to trigger the connected alarm. The package includes the CAGBS module, a microphone, a dual-adhesive pad for mounting the microphone, and a cable to connect the sensor to the alarm.
Sensitivity Adjustment: The module has a rotary adjustment screw that allows you to set the sensitivity of the glass breakage sensor. The sensor should be set high enough to trigger the alarm when multiple high pitched sounds are heard, but low enough to prevent false alarms due to noise vibrations from passing trucks and heavy equipment.
