The SiriusXM NGVA3 replaces these items:

Product Research

Replacement SiriusXM Vehicle Antenna: The NGVA3 is a replacement magnetic vehicle mount antenna for SiriusXM, XM, and Sirius Satellite Radio tuners & vehicle docks.

Compatibility: The NGVA3 replacement antenna is compatible with all SiriusXM, XM, and Sirius Satellite Radio tuners and docks that feature a push-on SMB single input antenna connector.

Exterior Mounting: The NGVA SiriusXM antenna should be mounted to a magnetic metal surface on the outside of your vehicle, such as the roof top or trunk lid.

Magnetic Base: The NGVA3 replacement SiriusXM antenna features a magnetic base that mounts to most metal vehicle surfaces. There are four small rubber feet on the base of the antenna to prevent scratching your vehicle's paint.

23' Cable: The NGVA3's attached antenna cable is 23' in length to accommodate most vehicles. The antenna cable is very small in diameter (0.095") and can be easily routed around window moldings and through access holes. The cable is terminated by a right-angle, push-on SMB connector.

I`m not sure!!

As long as it's a non-metallic paint. I recommend using an adhesion promoter before you paint it and some clear when you're done.

Will this work on my 2005 GMC Sierra, my existing connector on the XMradio tuner is yellow and rectangular?
[ Corey  Nov 09, 2020 ]
1 answer
No. This has the round style common to aftermarket radios. You will either need an adapter or a GMC brand antenna (best option).

I did not have a problem installing the antenna and have not had an issue with its performance since installing it in early 2018.

I don't have a factory installed radio only aftermarket but it works great!!!
[ NICHOLAS  Jun 20, 2020 ]
You would have to verify the connect to the radio, I current have a Kenwood after market head unit, most connection for SiriusXM are universal. I hope it helps.

I wouldn't, due the possible loss of reception, I have mine located on the left (driver side) corner of the dash (above).

My Pioneer 8400NEX using a Sirius XM Model NVGA3 antenna keeps getting the message, "Check antenna". Is the antenna bad?
[ Cal Hoov  Dec 29, 2018 ]

Never had this happen in my JK 2010. I did have the antenna on the dash initially then moved it to the hood for better reception.
