A
This is designed to be plugged into an amp bypassing the need to have a receiver installed. I recommend contacting an advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to get help building an audio system with the abilities you seek

Q
So this unit can be hook directly to regular marine speakers for the audio out put?
[ Zach  Jul 14, 2020 ]
1 answer
A
No it does not have any built-in power. You would need to connect it to an amp that can then power the signal and send it to the speakers.

Q
how is this hooked to the amp is it through the aux out if so where would it go on the amp?
[ Willy  Jun 27, 2020 ]

A
It has RCA connectors to connect to the amp. The Aux is if you want to connect via wire to audio source.

hooks to the audio in on the front of radio 3.5mm male 1/8" you will need a cable with 3.5mm male jacks on both ends to hook into MTX Aux output on MTX is also 3.5mm jack to hook to amp, so you would need a cable with 3.5mm on one end and I presume RCA inputs on amp . 3.5mm to RCA cable should work fine
[ Michael  Jul 03, 2020 ]
A
You have to buy an auxiliary jack to RCA adapter. You can then plug the RCA's into whatever channel you're using on the air if you're using more than one channel then you have to split the RCA's to each channel. In other words if you are using a four channel amp you'll need two sets of RCA cables to plug into both channels
