Overview: The SoundSkins Pro Street Glide Harley-Davidson Saddlebag Kit is a sound deadening package designed specifically for 2014-2021 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycles. The kit includes 18 panels of SoundSkins' elite sound deadening material, all machine pre-cut to install inside your saddlebags. The SoundSkins panels are designed to dramatically lower the saddlebag's resonant characteristics, making them better speaker enclosures while reducing unwanted noise. The Street Glide Saddlebag Kit can be used with standard factory bags, extended bags, as well as aftermarket stretched bags, for approximately 9.8 sq. ft. of sound deadening coverage.
Materials: SoundSkins Pro sound deadening is made from a combination of 3 layers; acoustic foam, foil, and rubber butyl. This flexible blend of materials allows you to layer panels in your vehicle for reduced vibration and improved sound quality. The rubber butyl has a high adhesive level, meaning it won't fall off once applied correctly. Each panel's foam and butyl rubber are both waterproof and heat proof and are designed to withstand the test of time. The panels are flexible enough to easily be cut with material scissors or a sharp blade.
Installation: Each sound deadening sheet is machine pre-cut to fit a specific location, and gets applied directly to the inner saddlebag surface. The kit can be used alone, or can be covered by a custom bag liner (sold separately) to prevent erosion of the material.
