This portable sounds great. It's portable and connected up to my phone. Sound way better than my Dragon fly. It does not sound as good as my desk DAC/ Headphone amp however, this is the best portable headphone / Amp have heard. Powers my hard to drive headphones with ample power on the regular setting. The bast boost give a little more lower mid bass and sound good. The 3D changed the EQ on the high and added to much higher tones. Maybe has a better explanation on how to charge the battery and show which port.
Pros: Sounds great, portable.
Cons: Battery has to be charged alone when not in use.

Just purchased from Crutchfield. I had noted that had no been no previous reviews so I went ahead and did some detailed research. Everything I read indicated that at this price point the iFi micro was the way to go. Main issue I had was were they good enough to drive my Audeze LCD-3's. Should I be looking at something more expensive??? Did see some comparisons to the Macintosh MHA 50's and the Sony PHA-3's but not many data points here so I decided to go with my gut feeling and purchased the iFi's. Good move they sound great with the Audeze. I mainly wanted a headphone amp that I could take with me anywhere in the house or out on the patio and listen to music off a phone. (using a older phone as a music player, listen to variety of music mp3, wav, flac, Dsd etc. ) What can I say other than it sounds great. I am really enjoying.
Pros: Can drive high caliber headphones such as Audeze. Sound ... may not be perfect but pretty close. Note: Eco mode sort of useless but normal does the job. Also make sure iematch is on right setting as you'll notice a big difference if you don't. I set mine to off.
Cons: Lots of unneeded switches. Note - put on the provided silicone feet as not to accidentally changed switch settings on bottom of DAC.
