Frustrating Installation

Purchased this for our 2014 Dodge journey. Was disappointed that the installation instructions were vauge in some areas and left out a couple of steps. Also there is not enough room behind the radio unit to get all components back into the small area behind the radio. I had to take the infotainment display unit components above the radio unit out and place them behind the infotainment unit above the radio. It would have been nice to know this before spending the time to trying to make it fit behind the radio unit. A video or actual diagrams and instruction would have been a time saver. Overall I am happy to have the apple car play, It does not work as seamless with the vechicles infotainment as a factory unit or an aftermarket radio that has appley car play. We considered returning the unit but after time we have figure out how to make it work out and plan on keeping the product. apple car play - 3.5 stars *** Crutchfield support - 5 stars ***** - (even though they werent able to give the specific info i needed during installation (this was due to lack of correct step by step instructions included with the CRUX product) - they were all helpful the 3 times i spoke with them. Installation instructions from CRUX - 1 * - a couple of steps were left out. No instructions on how to fit all the components back behind the radio.

CRUX ACPCH-01 SmartPlay Wiring Interface

After installing this Crux Smart Play interface in my wife's 2104 Chrysler 300s it had a glitch. When someone called the music would pause as it should but once call ended music would not restart. One call to Critchfield which led me to call Crux for a system update now it works great!!! The wife loves it!!!
