Skeptical at first, but fully sold on it now!

I was a little skeptical at first when purchasing the Alpine iLX-W650 for my 2015 Hyundai Elantra GT (non-navigation) and the options came up for the PAC SWC module and this Crux one. Quite a difference in price, but opted for this one to check it out and save ~$50. Wiring and configuration was insanely easy. I used to work in and own a Car Stereo shop for a good part of my life, but it's been a good 10 years since I've done any sort of installation. But, it was pretty straightforward, plug the single-pin connector to the back of the radio, which I was overlooking at first, lol, then boom, ALL of my relevant controls were working, including triggering Siri. Very impressed with this unit and I'll definitely go the Crux route in the future.

Worked great, right away. Instructions were clear on how to wire it and how to set the DIP switches. All of the steering wheel controls work as expected, even the voice-command button and the answer/hang-up call buttons. In our '13 Sportage the voice command button brings up Siri immediately when in Carplay which is awesome.

The product is good. I wish the instructions that came with it was more in-depth or more clear. I wish all of the wires were labeled. After a little trial and error, everything worked.

MAde hooking to steering wheet controls easy. Found out later there is no way to communicate w/ factory car microphone or the voice recognition button on steering wheel. Major limitation on this item to me, just didn't understand that when I purchased.

Time saving piece of gold

There was a little confusion on the provided antenna adapter provided. Come to find it wasn't needed. Even with the confusion the time saved make up for it.... Definitely would suggest anyone wanting to integrate their steering wheel controls into their aftermarket headunit to grab one up..

As far as I can tell, all my steering wheel buttons work perfectly. Just make sure your dip switches are set correctly. This was a very easy install.

Veloster beware.

Unit worked after a lot of effort and downloading the electrical connections from the internet for my Veloster. The unit is stated to be compatible with a 2012 Hyundai Veloster, but it is not. the wiring for the speakers is all wrong. Had to figure out which went to what myself. For the steering wheel part one wire was wrong in the connector as well so had to splice into my wiring in the car for that one. I will say the technical support help was outstanding. Had to have support on the phone to figure out what wire on my car harness needed to attach to the adapter for the steering wheel. I did not want to just start cutting. He stayed on the line and looked through the electrical charts until we came to an agreement which one to try. It worked out in the end, but I am very disappointed in the harness since ease of install and not having to cut my harness was the entire reason I bought it, and it failed on both counts.
