About the Crux SWRHK-65Q Wiring Interface

Retain your factory features

Crux's SWRHK-65Q interface ensures that you can keep the factory steering wheel controls in your 2017-up Hyundai or Kia when you install an aftermarket radio. Your car's auxiliary input will still work with your new stereo. Connect the package's included wiring harness to the factory harness, and you've covered the power, ground, and factory speaker connections for your new stereo.

You'll only be able to retain your steering wheel audio controls with a compatible car stereo made by Alpine, Boss, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Dual, Jensen, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony or Soundstream. No other brands are currently compatible.

The interface supplies the outputs (reverse, illumination, parking brake, speed sense) needed for a navigation radio, and you'll also be able to keep your backup camera (if present) and USB port. This adapter has RCA jacks to connect to your car stereo's rear aux input; you'll need an RCA-to-miniplug adapter if your new stereo has a minijack.

Note: This interface is only compatible with vehicles equipped with a factory non-touchscreen receiver.

Customer Q&A

1 question already asked

Q
Which pin does the green/black wire for the 6v camera down step go in?
[ Chase  Mar 04, 2021 ]
1 answer
A
You should need a separate 6v camera step down. One is already built into the harness.
