The backup cam just for you
Designed specifically for select 2011-up Chrysler and Dodge vehicles, this Crux RVCCH-75EC rear-view camera system allows you to integrate backup video into your Uconnect radio with an 8.4" screen. And no one will even notice, because the tiny rear-view camera is made to fit in the center brake light in your rear gate. The package includes the CH-75E rear-view camera, an interface and harness that connect to the factory radio, and a power/signal cable that you'll route from the camera to the front of your car.
Once installed, you'll see a generous, well-lit picture of what's behind you, with a 170-degree wide view and video capture down to 0.2 Lux for night driving. Crux also gives you the option to enable on-screen parking assist lines so you can gauge distance more easily.
NOTE: The Crux RVCCH-75EC backup camera system is only compatible with the Uconnect radio with 8.4” screen. Installation of the system will require you to drill a small hole in your center brake light in order to fit the camera into place (instructions are included).

Easy straight forward install

Product works very well. I could not install it myself, as I was very confused on how to route and hide the camera wire. So I hired someone else to do it. The information on drilling the hole into the brake light is self-explanatory. I will say this: my cables caused somewhat of a short into the speakers when playing media via Bluetooth. It worked on AM, FM, and CD, but was off on the Bluetooth. I had to literally take everything back on and plug each thing in one at a time for diagnose the issue. But once I found it, it was a quick fix. Just remember to be careful as you're loading the thing back in, and don't get the really switch hit. If that gets removed or damaged, YOUR RADIO WILL NOT WORK.
Pros: Camera is bright, Can see very well at night. Grid lines make knowing the proximity great.
Cons: Manual doesn't really tell you how to route the camera wire to the interior component. Reverse lines do not follow the path of the wheels, which would have been really nice. Depth can be a bit obscure as it is pointed down

More details on the Crux RVCCH-75EC Backup Camera System
Sightline Series Rear-View Camera System: The Sightline series RVCCH-75EC rear-view camera system by Crux has been specifically designed for select 2011-2015 Dodge & Chrysler vehicles that are equipped with a U-Connect factory radio. Now you can use your vehicle's factory radio to see what's behind you when backing up. The RVCCH-75EC comes with an interface module and the necessary harnesses and cables to connect the rear-view camera to your vehicle's factory system.
Note: The RVCCH75-EC rear-view camera is meant as a back-up aid only; never solely rely on the rear-view camera when backing-up. In addition to using the rear-view camera, always look behind you to make sure everything is clear when backing up your vehicle.
Vehicle Compatibility: The Sightline series RVCCH-75EC rear-view camera system is compatible with the following 2011-2015 Dodge & Chrysler vehicles that feature a U-Connect factory radio with a 8.4" screen (as of 3/27/15).
Note: Not compatible in vehicles with Manual Transmission.
Automatic Rear-View Switching: The RVCCH-75EC features automatic rear-view switching. This means that when you place your vehicle in reverse gear, your factory radio's monitor will automatically switch over to the rear-view camera so you can see what's behind you immediately.
Park Assist Lines: The rear-view camera provides parking assist lines on the screen of your vehicle's in-dash factory radio. These parking lines are there to assist you when backing up into a parking space. There are two vertical lines which help you judge the left and right edges of the parking space and your vehicle. There are also 3 color-coded horizontal lines that are used to distinguish how close you are getting to the end of the parking spot - Yellow (Clear), Purple (Getting Close), Red (Very Close).
Flush Mount Design: You will need to drill a 18.5mm (5/8") hole in your vehicle's third brake light located on the trunk lid using the supplied hole saw drill-bit (drill not included). The rear-view camera mounts flush in this opening and features four spring clips to hold it in place.
Power/Ground & Signal Connections: The rear-view camera features an attached 19" power/signal cable which plugs into the included 20' composite video cable and 46" power/ground cable. The 20' composite video cable then connects to the included 13" vehicle/video harness, while the 46" power/ground cable must be hardwired to your vehicle's electrical system. There is a red lead on the 20' composite video cable that also needs to be hardwired to the the white lead on the included 9" vehicle/interface harness. The vehicle/video harness and vehicle/interface harness plug into the factory 22-pin connectors behind the factory radio, as well as plug into the rear-view interface module mounted behind the factory radio.
