Product Research

Features

Sightline Series Rear-View Camera System: The Sightline series RVCCH-75WC rear-view camera system by Crux has been specifically designed for select 2007-2017 Jeep Wranglers that are equipped with a MYGIG-style factory radio. Now you can use your vehicle's factory radio to see what's behind you when backing up. The RVCCH-75WC comes with an interface module and the necessary harnesses and cables to connect the rear-view camera to your Jeep Wrangler's factory system.

Note: The RVCCH75-WC rear-view camera is meant as a back-up aid only; never solely rely on the rear-view camera when backing-up. In addition to using the rear-view camera, always look behind you to make sure everything is clear when backing up your vehicle.

Vehicle Compatibility: The Sightline series RVCCH-75WC rear-view camera system is compatible with the following 2007-2017 Jeep vehicles that feature a MYGIG-style factory radio (as of 2/2/2017).

Make Model Year
Jeep Wrangler 2007-2017

Automatic Rear-View Switching: The RVCCH-75WC features automatic rear-view switching. This means that when you place your vehicle in reverse gear, your factory radio's monitor will automatically switch over to the rear-view camera so you can see what's behind you immediately.

Park Assist Lines: The rear-view camera provides parking assist lines on the screen of your vehicle's in-dash factory radio. These parking lines are there to assist you when backing up into a parking space. There are two vertical lines which help you judge the left and right edges of the parking space and your vehicle. There are also 3 color-coded horizontal lines that are used to distinguish how close you are getting to the end of the parking spot - Yellow (Clear), Purple (Getting Close), Red (Very Close).

AV Input/Output: The RVCCH75WC also provides composite video/stereo RCA input and output for your vehicle's MYGIG system.

Mounting: The rear-view camera is integrated into a replacement lamp housing which attaches to the vehicle's license plate. You will need to remove the existing license plate lamp housing and replace it with the camera/lamp assembly included with the RVCCH-75WC. The lamp and rear-view camera housing is waterproof.

Power/Ground & Signal Connections: The rear-view camera features an attached 19" power/signal cable which plugs into the included 19.5' composite video cable and the 47" power/ground cable. The composite video cable then plugs into the include vehicle harness. The vehicle harness plugs into the RCVCCH-75WC's interface module and your vehicle's factory radio.

Q
I have a 2015 Willys Wheeler with factory uconnect touchscreen but does NOT have navigation. Will this still work as plug and play or would I need to take it to dealership? I see it works with mygig factory touchscreen but is that the same factory unit as what I have? I cannot find info on the distinction because they say both are factory.

Q
Does this system work with any aftermarket headunits where it retains full functionality (switching automatically when in reverse, displaying full-screen on the unit)?
[ Colin  Jun 04, 2018 ]
1 answer
A
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
What is the difference between this $299 camera and the CCH-01W ($79.99)? Both say it fits my vehicle only with the factory myGyg radio but the cheaper one says it's for an after-market radio.

Q
Can you see the trailer hitch since the camera is offset?
[ dave  Sep 08, 2017 ]

A
I haven't had an opportunity to hitch anything to the rear, but you have a full view of the area behind you. I would say you should easily be able to see something hitched to the towing area. On mine, I can see just the edge of the rear tire, but it's not obstructing any of the full rear view.
[ robert  Sep 27, 2017 ]
A
I have the camera that mounts on the license plate light. You can see the trailer hitch, easily.

Q
not getting power to integration module?

Check to make sure you have a good ground. Remember to scrape away any paint from under a connection. Also use a voltage meter to make sure you have power at the power connection with the key turned to the run position. Lastly make sure you have reconnected the battery.
