About the Crux SOOCR-26 Wiring Interface

Wire in a new radio
Crux's SOOCR-26 interface ensures that you can keep the factory amplifier in your Chrysler-made vehicle when you replace the factory radio; the interface also works in vehicles without a factory amplifier. Once you connect this interface to the wires on your new stereo's wiring harness, you've covered the power, ground, and factory speaker connections for your new stereo.
The SOOCR-26 interface also offers the reverse, illumination, and Vehicle Speed Sensor (V.S.S.) outputs that you'll need if you're installing a navigation receiver. The Crux interface is designed to work with the factory Chrysler CAN-bus systems.

Features
Radio Replacement Interface: The CRUX SOOCR-26 is a radio replacement interface for select 2005-up Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep Vehicles with a factory CAN-BUS system. It facilitates the integration of an aftermarket radio and enables retention of factory features when replacing a factory installed radio in select Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles (with or without factory-installed amps).
Note: This interface does not retain the vehicle's factory Uconnect system, if equipped.

Notes: The CRUX SOOCR-26 includes two wiring harnesses for older and newer model vehicles, but only one will be used based on your make, model, year vehicle.
Amplified or Non-Amplified Systems: The CRUX SOOCR-26 can be used in Chrysler, Dodge, & Jeep vehicles with or without a factory amplified system. It supports factory Infinity amplifier systems & factory Boston Premium amplified systems.
Note: Front & Rear fading are lost and not adjustable when using the SOOCR-26 to replace a factory radio with an aftermarket head unit in vehicles with a factory amplified system.
Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.): The ignition power source of many Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles keeps the radio on until one of the doors is opened; this feature is lost when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket head unit without the proper installation accessories. The SOOCR-26 is designed to retain the R.A.P. feature and keep the radio powered after the key is off, until the driver door is opened or the OEM timer ends; whichever happens first.
+12V Accessory Output: In many Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles, there is no 12-volt accessory wire in the factory harness, which requires the installer to run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The SOOCR-26 is designed to provide a 12V/2A switched accessory output (red wire).
Navigation Outputs: The CRUX SOOCR-26 radio replacement interface module provides a VSS (vehicle speed sense) and a Reverse Gear output to make installing an aftermarket Navigation radio simpler and less time consuming.
