Bluetooth stopped working
Art from west seneca on 8/10/2022
I bought this turntable as I wanted a quality turntable that bluetooth functionality. All reviews for Pro-Ject were very favorable. Unfortunately, the bluetooth stopped functioning while listening to an album after about a month. It has been at a Pro-Ject authorized dealer for about 2 weeks now. Per the dealer, Pro-Ject only responds via email, and after numerous communications, the dealer has requested a replacement. Meanwhile I'm still waiting. I did like the sound from this turntable, however, it appears to me that Pro-Ject has not figured out the bluetooth function properly.
Pros: style - the black looks sharp!, no motor humm, and sounds fantastic.
Cons: Bluetooth, 3 legs instead of 4 need some getting used to.

Pro-Ject E1 BT

Very nice turntable. Very simplistic in appearance. No buttons or adjustments in view. Gives a modern look. The stylus is high end.which is a huge part of the turntable sound quality. The walnut base is literally a piece of furniture and really complements my great room. The assembly and set up was super easy. No tone arm adjustments required because it's all pre adjusted at the factory. The only issue, the base sits on 3 isolation feet not 4. I think 4 would be more stable. Also, the blue tooth output is not very good. I have not been able to get it to link to the Klipsch speakers yet. I will contact Crutchfield for assistance. I feel the built in phono preamp isn't very good. I wired it to the speakers I purchased, ( Klipsch powered bookshelf speakers which have a phono preamp). This seems to provide better frequency range. However, after I get the turntable hooked up to the Klipsch speakers via Bluetooth, the frequency range may improve. I also purchased a small Klipsch subwoofer from Crutchfield. Once it arrives, I'll add to this set up. Hopefully the base frequency range will improve.
Pros: Nice piece of furniture, compliments the room. Stylus is high end. No tone arm adjustments necessary
Cons: Phono preamp is questionable quality. Bluetooth function is still being assessed. 4 stabilization feet would be better than 3.
