Finally!

When it came to portable earbuds, I just assumed they all had crappy sound and worked poorly. I have owned a few other sets of Bluetooth earbuds, some better than others, but all name brands that you would know. These were a game changer for me. Audiophile? Maybe not, but the sound quality is noticeably better than any other of the (name brand) earbuds I've owned before. I don't have the connection problems and other quirks that I've had to deal with another ear buds, and the sound is substantially better than the ones I've owned previously (although admittedly these are about 2x-3x the price). I'm thrilled that I found these, and would recommend them to anyone who is not appalled by the price.
Pros: Sound quality, no connection issues, comfortable
Cons: Price (but worth it to me)

The sound quality is similar to devialet gemini, while the vocal is clearer and more precise for JVC and the base is better for devialet gemini. Overall, I would think devialet gemini is slightly better. I had concern about how to activate the voice assistant, Crutchfield could not give me an answer, however it is mentioned in the user manual on the JVC website (Not in the paper manual came with the earbuds). You just need to "Touch the touch sensor area on the L earphone for about 1 second when not using the phone function and release your finger once you hear a beep."
