Modulation Frequencies: The modulator has 10 FM modulation frequencies. You can select the following modulation frequencies from the wired remote/display unit: 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7, 88.9, 89.1, 89.3, 89.5, 89.7, or 89.9MHz.
J-Link Connection: This changer is equipped with a single cable connection. The changer is directly compatible with KD-MX, KS-FX, KD-LX, KD-SH and KD-SX series head units that have changer controls. This makes it easy to change over from an FM modulated system to a head unit controlled CD changer system.
BBE II: The BBE II circuitry adjusts the phase relationship between the low, mid and high frequencies by adding a progressively longer delay time to the low and mid frequencies. It also boosts the low and high frequencies resulting in a clearer, more defined sound. The BBE II function can be turned On or Off.
Full-Floating Mechanism: The Full-Floating Mechanism absorbs vibrations, reducing skipping and mistracking.
Repeat Play: You can repeat the current track or the current disc.
Random Play: You can play the tracks on the current disc in random order or play the tracks on all the discs in the changer in random order.
Intro Scan: You can play the first 15 seconds of each track on a selected disc or you can play the first 15 seconds of each disc.
Output Level: The output level can be changed to match the FM level and can be set to one of 5 levels.
Mounting Angles: You can install this changer at a 0 degree, 22.5 degree, 45 degree, 67.5 degree, or 90 degree angle. There are angle switching dials on both sides of the unit that must be set to agree with the mounting angle of the unit.
Reset: There is an eject button behind the door that also acts as a reset button if pressed and held down for 3 seconds.
Controls on Wired Remote/Display:
- PWR: turns the power On and Off
- Disc+/Disc-: allows you to cycle up or down through discs
