Aquatic AV's Shockwave technology eliminates almost all electronic interferences (EMI) — those unwanted clicks, hums, and buzzes often plaguing systems used in the outdoors. The amp carries an IP67 waterproof rating, in addition to being UV, salt, and fog-resistant, to ensure reliable performance in any situation — even after a power wash. The compact aluminum and stainless steel chassis and efficient Class D design mean the amp can be tucked neatly out of the way, and will run cool, without putting a strain on your electrical system.

Overview: The Aquatic AV AD500.4 combines exceptional sound quality, high performance characteristics, and unprecedented reliability into a compact 4-channel amplifier that's designed for the outdoors. With 600W of pure power (150W per channel at 2 Ohms) the AD500.4 packs enough punch for even the loudest of environments, so your music is always clear and present.
Waterproof Design: The Aquatic AV AD500.4's Ingress Protection rating of IP67 means the amplifier is fully protected against water and dust, as well as being UV/salt/fog resistant. Conformal coated circuit boards protect the smallest components from any humidity or atmospheric moisture, while custom molded grommets around cable extrusions and gaskets between all meeting points eliminate any chance of water or dust intrusion. Aluminum and stainless steel are used in chassis construction eliminating any risk of rust or corrosion.
Class D Technology: Class D (Digital) amplifiers are much more efficient than traditional amplifiers; producing less heat, lowering power consumption, reducing strain on batteries and charging systems.
4 & 2 Ohm Stable: Designed to support the widest variety of applications the AD500.4 amplifier operates at both 4-ohm and 2-ohm speaker configurations. Running 2-ohm configurations allows more speakers to be powered and is ideal for high background noise environments such as motorcycle use.

Bridge Mode: Bridge Mode allows each channel's power to be combined for maximum output, ideal for use with subwoofers. The amplifier is rated a 300 watts x 2 channel into 4-ohms.
High/Low Pass Crossovers: A built-in High-Pass/Low-Pass crossover for each pair of channels is adjustable from 40Hz to 400Hz, allowing the output to be filtered for optimum use with a subwoofer or mid/high-range speakers. The crossover can also be set to FULL for a full-range audio signal.
Shockwave Technology: Shockwave technology reduces EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) to prevent unwanted noise in your audio system.
Low & High Level Inputs: The AD500.4 provides both low-level (RCA) and high-level (speaker) input connection harnesses. Each pair of channels includes a Gain adjustment that can accept input signals ranging from 0.2V (200mV) to 10V.
Speaker Outputs: The AD500.4 includes a wiring harness which plugs into the attached harness on the amplifier. On the other end of the harness are four bare-ended 16AWG speaker leads to connect your speakers.
Power/Remote/Ground: The amplifier features an attached 10AWG Power (red), 16AWG Remote (blue), and 10AWG Ground (black) wire. The Power and Ground are terminated with bare wire, while the Remote wire is terminated with a bullet-connector. The Power wire also has an in-line fuse holder with a 60A Maxi-fuse installed. An 8 AWG amp wiring kit is recommended and sold separately.
Protection Circuit: The Aquatic AV AD500.4 features a built-in protection circuit that will activate if a speaker wire is shorted or too low of an impedance is detected on a speaker output. A Power/Protect LED on the control panel will light Blue when the amp is On, and Red if the amp goes into protect mode.
