For more detailed information you can always reach out to Metra Online and Pac Audio both companies are the major players in aftermarket wiring kits for cars.

It sounds like you have the version of the vehicle that does not have a pocket below the radio and this version does not need a mounting kit to hold the JVC radio in the dash; just reuse the factory radio mounting brackets

Maybe I missed it but what is the resistance rating of this speaker? Also,may I ask, what is the factory size of this speaker since you have both a 5.25in and a 6.50in size speaker? Hi Robert, thank you for your question. The reason you see multiple speaker sizes listed is because we have found that you can use multiple speaker sizes with the use of an adapter bracket. If the adapter brackets are necessary for your install location, and brackets are available for your vehicle, we will send those brackets to you free of charge with the purchase of the speakers. There are a few other vehicle qualifying questions we would need to ask in order to confirm we have the correct vehicle information pulled up for your Camaro. They will be able to pull that information up and confirm the impedance of your speakers, as well as offer advice and recommendations for speaker replacements.

I have a 2012 Avalon, and I'd have a hard time believing electronics were more complex 5 years previous for a 2007 model car. Crutchfileld had a guide for my car that was very helpful - a guide specific to my car. They're inexpensive guides too. Yes you can upgrade, just a matter of how difficult it is. I would buy Crutchfield's guide specific to your car, and if for some reason that is not enough, talk to a Honda dealer for directions on how to take parts of the car apart to get at your amplifier. Possibly better yet, you might not need to access the old amp. Just bypass it and rewire the new amp in. My old amp for the stock stereo is still mounted in the car and my new audio system isn't affected at all. Dan

So I've been given a Jensen vm8113, I had it wired up, had power to the unit but the little screen on it wasn't coming up to view. Depends on the model. Look online for the manufacturers manual. Some head units work with a specific app in some cases. Kenwood and Pioneer come to mind. Hope this helps!

Will this bring up the backup camera when put in reverse on a 2015 Subaru outback limited? Also can you still use the steering wheel controls and all other previous functions? Are these included in the instillation guide, or would a professional (extra $) be needed?

It will automatically bring up the reverse camera if you wire it correctly. There is a wire on both the unit and the camera which must get 12V when you place the car in reverse - I connected both to the back up lights. You can use (and even add) steering wheel functions with the idatalink device. The device must be configured online (this is relatively easy) through the idatalink website. You can add features because the device allows two functions to be mapped to any button - one for a momentary press and a 2nd function for a press and hold.

The 9 speaker option has separate factory tweeters in both the front & rear door locations. The 7 speaker system only has tweeters in the front. I am trying to install a upgraded stereo system in my 2012 F350, it came with a basic am/fm radio and I am trying to install a 6 disc changer, MP3 player, am/fm stereo (OEM) So basically nothing works when I plug it in, seems like I am missing plugs to put in it, the original only had one harness connector and this one has 3 spots to plug something into, unfortunately my truck only has one connector coming from the harness, so is there a way to make this work or am I screwed? The best spot will always be on the roof, but not wanting to do that I mounted it on the dash as close to the windshield as possible. It comes with a metal plate that sticks down and you mount the antenna too. Has worked fine so far.

It can work on the dashboard but you will find the signal drops much more often as the roof of your vehicle blocks the signal in certain directions. I do not believe so...most factory stereos from that era do not have an exterior aux outlet, but you are probably considering the option of rigging something routed under the dash to plug into a possible connection on the rear of the enclosed box. It is not common for any such factory install to include an option for this. That is, don't expect to spend time and effort to dig under the dash to find a hidden aux port built in to the back of the audio unit. I have a Mazda 626 from 2001 and had no luck with this. (This car is essentially a Ford Contour, with a Mazda nameplate...albeit not a Tauraus, but very similar to it). M. Goodwin

Here is the information we have for your vehicle. The rear side panel must be removed to access the subwoofer location. Extensive disassembly is required. Drill new screw holes to mount aftermarket subwoofer. Factory subwoofer has dual 2-ohm voice coils. The listed depth is 3.355". Hope this helps.

This mastersheet doesn't come with wiring instructions. It's just a step by step on taking the dash apart. The wiring instructions will always come with the radio itself.

Hi Jessica. Wire diagrams are not included in the mastersheet. It mostly helped to understand how to take off the panels, head unit, and the back seat. You should be able to purchase the wiring harnesses from Crutchfield to make the connections, otherwise you'll have to shop around for the wiring diagrams.
